Alidoro! You came to save me!
- Alidoro 你拉着我的尾巴救了我。现在，我也救你！
Nǐ lāzhe wǒ de wěiba jiù le wǒ. Xiànzài, wǒ yě jiù nǐ!
You saved me by pulling my tail. Now it's my turn to save you!
- Pinocchio 阿利多罗，那个孩子……欧金尼奥，他死了吗？
Ālìduōluó, nàge háizi… Ōujīnní'ào, tā sǐ le ma?
Alidoro, that boy... Eugenio, is he dead?
- Alidoro 没有。他好了，已经回家了。
Méiyǒu. Tā hǎo le, yǐjīng huí jiā le.
No. He's fine. He's already gone home.
- Pinocchio 太好了！……我要回家，去找妈妈！
Tài hǎo le!… Wǒ yào huí jiā, qù zhǎo māma!
Thank goodness!... I want to go home, to Mama!
- Pinocchio 妈妈！开门！是我，匹诺曹！下雨了，好冷啊！
Māma! Kāi mén! Shì wǒ, Pǐnuòcáo! Xià yǔ le, hǎo lěng a!
Mama! Open the door! It's me, Pinocchio! It's raining, and I'm so cold!

All night long the Snail walked. The door opened only at dawn.
- Pinocchio 妈妈，对不起！我没上学，我打架，我……
Māma, duìbuqǐ! Wǒ méi shàngxué, wǒ dǎjià, wǒ…
Mama, I'm sorry! I skipped school, I got into a fight, I...
- The Fairy with Turquoise Hair 好了，别哭。我再相信你一次。这是最后一次。
Hǎo le, bié kū. Wǒ zài xiāngxìn nǐ yí cì. Zhè shì zuìhòu yí cì.
All right, don't cry. I'll trust you one more time. This is the last time.
- Narrator 一年过去了。匹诺曹是学校里最好的学生。
Yì nián guòqu le. Pǐnuòcáo shì xuéxiào lǐ zuì hǎo de xuésheng.
A year went by. Pinocchio was the best pupil in the whole school.
- The Fairy with Turquoise Hair 匹诺曹，明天你会变成一个真正的孩子！
Pǐnuòcáo, míngtiān nǐ huì biànchéng yí gè zhēnzhèng de háizi!
Pinocchio, tomorrow you'll become a real boy!
- Pinocchio 真的？我不是木偶了？
Zhēn de? Wǒ bú shì mù'ǒu le?
Really? I won't be a puppet anymore?
- The Fairy with Turquoise Hair 真的。我们请你的朋友来，我做两百杯牛奶咖啡。
Zhēn de. Wǒmen qǐng nǐ de péngyou lái, wǒ zuò liǎng bǎi bēi niúnǎi kāfēi.
Really. We'll invite your friends, and I'll make two hundred cups of milky coffee.
- Pinocchio 两百杯牛奶咖啡？太好了！我去请他们！
Liǎng bǎi bēi niúnǎi kāfēi? Tài hǎo le! Wǒ qù qǐng tāmen!
Two hundred cups of milky coffee? Hooray! I'll go and invite them!
- The Fairy with Turquoise Hair 去吧。可是天黑以前，一定要回来。
Qù ba. Kěshì tiān hēi yǐqián, yídìng yào huílai.
Go on. But be home before dark.
- Pinocchio 一定！天黑以前，我一定回来！
Yídìng! Tiān hēi yǐqián, wǒ yídìng huílai!
I promise! I'll be back before dark!
- Narrator 路边站着一个孩子，是匹诺曹最好的朋友。
Lùbiān zhànzhe yí gè háizi, shì Pǐnuòcáo zuì hǎo de péngyou.
A boy was standing by the road. It was Pinocchio's best friend.
- Pinocchio 小灯芯？你怎么在这儿？又没上学？
Xiǎo Dēngxīn? Nǐ zěnme zài zhèr? Yòu méi shàngxué?
Candlewick? What are you doing here? Skipping school again?
- Candlewick 上学？我不去了。今天晚上十二点，我去玩具国。
Shàngxué? Wǒ bú qù le. Jīntiān wǎnshang shí'èr diǎn, wǒ qù Wánjù Guó.
School? I'm done with school. At midnight tonight, I'm off to the Land of Toys.
- Candlewick 那儿没有学校，天天都是星期天！你也来吧！
Nàr méiyǒu xuéxiào, tiāntiān dōu shì xīngqītiān! Nǐ yě lái ba!
There's no school there, and every day is Sunday! Come with me!
