A pigeon brings news of Papa, and Pinocchio flies to the stormy sea, where a tiny boat is out among the huge waves.

Pinocchio? That's me! I'm Pinocchio!

Nǐ bàba zhǎo nǐ, zhǎo le sì gè yuè.
Your papa has been looking for you for four months.
- the Pigeon 现在他做了一条小船，要去海那边找你。
Xiànzài tā zuò le yì tiáo xiǎochuán, yào qù hǎi nàbiān zhǎo nǐ.
Now he's made a little boat, and he's going across the sea to find you.
- Pinocchio 海？海在哪儿？我要去！
Hǎi? Hǎi zài nǎr? Wǒ yào qù!
The sea? Where's the sea? I want to go!
- the Pigeon 很远。坐上来，我们飞过去！
Hěn yuǎn. Zuò shànglai, wǒmen fēi guòqu!
It's far. Climb on, and we'll fly there!
- Pinocchio 我在飞！好玩！爸爸，等我！
Wǒ zài fēi! Hǎowán! Bàba, děng wǒ!
I'm flying! This is fun! Papa, wait for me!
- Narrator 第二天早上，鸽子和匹诺曹到了海边。风很大，浪很大。
Dì èr tiān zǎoshang, Gēzi hé Pǐnuòcáo dào le hǎibiān. Fēng hěn dà, làng hěn dà.
The next morning, the Pigeon and Pinocchio reached the shore. The wind was strong, and the waves were huge.
- Pinocchio 那儿有一条小船！很小很小！
Nàr yǒu yì tiáo xiǎochuán! Hěn xiǎo hěn xiǎo!
There's a little boat out there! So tiny!
- Pinocchio 是爸爸！爸爸！我在这儿！
Shì bàba! Bàba! Wǒ zài zhèr!
It's Papa! Papa! I'm here!
- Geppetto 匹诺曹……我的孩子……回家去……
Pǐnuòcáo… wǒ de háizi… huí jiā qù…
Pinocchio... my boy... go home...
- Pinocchio 爸爸，你说什么？我听不见！
Bàba, nǐ shuō shénme? Wǒ tīng bu jiàn!
Papa, what are you saying? I can't hear you!
- Narrator 一个很大的浪打了过来。小船……没有了。
Yí gè hěn dà de làng dǎ le guòlai. Xiǎochuán… méiyǒu le.
A huge wave came crashing in. The little boat... was gone.
- Pinocchio 爸爸！爸爸！
Bàba! Bàba!
Papa! Papa!
- Pinocchio 你不能死！我来救你！
Nǐ bù néng sǐ! Wǒ lái jiù nǐ!
You can't die! I'm coming to save you!
- Pinocchio 我跳！我是木头做的，我会游泳！
Wǒ tiào! Wǒ shì mùtou zuò de, wǒ huì yóuyǒng!
I'll jump! I'm made of wood, I can swim!
- Narrator 匹诺曹在海里游泳。一个晚上过去了。
Pǐnuòcáo zài hǎi lǐ yóuyǒng. Yí gè wǎnshang guòqu le.
Pinocchio swam on through the sea. A whole night went by.
- Pinocchio 这是哪儿？……爸爸？
Zhè shì nǎr? …Bàba?
Where am I? ...Papa?
- the Dolphin 这是蜜蜂岛。小木偶，你真会游泳。
Zhè shì Mìfēng Dǎo. Xiǎo mù'ǒu, nǐ zhēn huì yóuyǒng.
This is the Island of Busy Bees. Little puppet, you're a fine swimmer.
- Pinocchio 海豚，你看见一条小船了吗？我爸爸在船上！
Hǎitún, nǐ kànjiàn yì tiáo xiǎochuán le ma? Wǒ bàba zài chuánshang!
Dolphin, did you see a little boat? My papa was in it!
- the Dolphin 看见了。浪太大了……
Kànjiàn le. Làng tài dà le…
I did. The waves were so big...
- the Dolphin 大鲨鱼来了。它比房子还大。
Dà Shāyú lái le. Tā bǐ fángzi hái dà.
The Terrible Dogfish came. It's bigger than a house.
- Pinocchio 大鲨鱼？
Dà Shāyú?
The Terrible Dogfish?
- the Dolphin 它的嘴很大很大，火车也能开进去。
Tā de zuǐ hěn dà hěn dà, huǒchē yě néng kāi jìnqu.
Its mouth is so big, a train could drive right in.
- the Dolphin 你爸爸……一定被它吃进去了。
Nǐ bàba… yídìng bèi tā chī jìnqu le.
Your papa... it must have swallowed him.
- Pinocchio 爸爸……在大鲨鱼的肚子里？
Bàba… zài Dà Shāyú de dùzi lǐ?
