At dawn Romeo rushes to old Friar Lawrence with an impossible request. By afternoon, in a quiet chapel, a secret wedding begins.

Bié gāoxìng tài zǎo. Hūnlǐ yào xiǎoxīn, bù néng ràng rènhé rén zhīdào.
Don't celebrate too soon. We must be careful. No one can know about the wedding.
- Friar Lawrence 还有，走得太快的人，也容易摔倒。慢一点儿。
Háiyǒu, zǒu de tài kuài de rén, yě róngyì shuāidǎo. Màn yìdiǎnr.
Also, people who walk too fast trip easily. Slow down.
- Romeo 我知道，神父。可是我的心一分钟也等不了。
Wǒ zhīdào, shénfu. Kěshì wǒ de xīn yì fēnzhōng yě děng bù liǎo.
I know, Father. But my heart can't wait a single minute.
- Nurse 呼……神父！我找了半天！罗密欧先生在这儿吗？
Hū… Shénfu! Wǒ zhǎo le bàntiān! Luómì'ōu xiānsheng zài zhèr ma?
Whew... Father! I've been looking for ages! Is Mister Romeo here?
- Romeo 奶妈！是我！朱丽叶说什么？
Nǎimā! Shì wǒ! Zhūlìyè shuō shénme?
Nurse! It's me! What did Juliet say?
- Nurse 别急，别急！我的腿都要断了！先让我坐下。
Bié jí, bié jí! Wǒ de tuǐ dōu yào duàn le! Xiān ràng wǒ zuòxià.
Don't rush me! My legs are about to fall off! Let me sit down first.
- Romeo 好，您坐。可是请快说！
Hǎo, nín zuò. Kěshì qǐng kuài shuō!
Yes, sit. But please, tell me quickly!
- Nurse 我家小姐一夜没睡，还问了我十次：他会不会来？
Wǒ jiā xiǎojie yí yè méi shuì, hái wèn le wǒ shí cì: tā huì bu huì lái?
My young lady didn't sleep all night and asked me ten times: will he come?
- Nurse 好。我家小姐说，今天下午，她会来这里跟你结婚。
Hǎo. Wǒ jiā xiǎojie shuō, jīntiān xiàwǔ, tā huì lái zhèlǐ gēn nǐ jiéhūn.
Good. My young lady says she'll come here this afternoon to marry you.
- Nurse 你要对她好。她年纪还小，还是一个孩子。
Nǐ yào duì tā hǎo. Tā niánjì hái xiǎo, hái shi yí gè háizi.
You must be good to her. She's still a child.
- Friar Lawrence 下午来教堂吧。我在门口等你们。
Xiàwǔ lái jiàotáng ba. Wǒ zài ménkǒu děng nǐmen.
Come to the chapel this afternoon. I'll wait for you at the door.
- Narrator 那天下午，小教堂里很安静。
Nà tiān xiàwǔ, xiǎo jiàotáng lǐ hěn ānjìng.
That afternoon, the little chapel was very quiet.
- Juliet 我来晚了吗？我一路都在跑。神父，罗密欧……我们真的要结婚了。
Wǒ lái wǎn le ma? Wǒ yílù dōu zài pǎo. Shénfu, Luómì'ōu… wǒmen zhēnde yào jiéhūn le.
Am I late? I ran the whole way. Father, Romeo... we're really going to be married.
- Romeo 朱丽叶，你今天像太阳一样美。
Zhūlìyè, nǐ jīntiān xiàng tàiyáng yíyàng měi.
Juliet, today you are beautiful as the sun.
- Juliet 我太高兴了，话都说不出来了。
Wǒ tài gāoxìng le, huà dōu shuō bu chūlái le.
I'm so happy that I can't find my words.
- Friar Lawrence 罗密欧，你愿意让朱丽叶做你的妻子吗？不管好坏，都在一起？
Luómì'ōu, nǐ yuànyì ràng Zhūlìyè zuò nǐ de qīzi ma? Bùguǎn hǎo huài, dōu zài yìqǐ?
Romeo, will you take Juliet as your wife, together in good times and bad?
- Romeo 我愿意。
Wǒ yuànyì.
I will.
- Friar Lawrence 朱丽叶，你愿意吗？
Zhūlìyè, nǐ yuànyì ma?
Juliet, will you?
- Juliet 我愿意！一生一世。
Wǒ yuànyì! Yìshēng yíshì.
I will! For my whole life.
- Friar Lawrence 好，现在你们是一家人了。愿神保护你们。
Hǎo, xiànzài nǐmen shì yì jiā rén le. Yuàn shén bǎohù nǐmen.
Good. Now you are one family. May God protect you both.
- Romeo 我是世界上最幸福的人！今晚我去你的阳台。
Wǒ shì shìjiè shang zuì xìngfú de rén! Jīnwǎn wǒ qù nǐ de yángtái.
I'm the happiest man in the world! Tonight I'll come to your balcony.
- Juliet 我会放下一条绳梯等你。
Wǒ huì fàng xià yì tiáo shéngtī děng nǐ.
I'll let down a rope ladder and wait for you.
- Friar Lawrence 太快乐的事，也会走得很快……希望天不要变。
Tài kuàilè de shì, yě huì zǒu de hěn kuài… xīwàng tiān bú yào biàn.
Joy this great can vanish just as fast... I hope the weather doesn't turn.
- Juliet 罗密欧，答应我：不管发生什么，你都会回到我身边。
Luómì'ōu, dāying wǒ: bùguǎn fāshēng shénme, nǐ dōu huì huídào wǒ shēnbiān.
Romeo, promise me: whatever happens, you'll come back to me.
