A year later the little man comes for the baby, but gives the queen three days to guess his name. Her guesses are silly, and time is running out.

I don't want gold. I want the child!
- Anna 请你，请你！我什么都给你！
Qǐng nǐ, qǐng nǐ! Wǒ shénme dōu gěi nǐ!
Please, please! I'll give you anything!
- The Little Man 哎呀，不要哭了。好吧，好吧。
Āiyā, bú yào kū le. Hǎo ba, hǎo ba.
Oh dear, stop crying. All right, all right.
- The Little Man 他会做我的小朋友！你不要问！
Tā huì zuò wǒ de xiǎo péngyou! Nǐ bú yào wèn!
He'll be my little friend! Don't ask!
- Anna 我的孩子这么小，你要他做什么？
Wǒ de háizi zhème xiǎo, nǐ yào tā zuò shénme?
My child is so small. What do you want him for?
- The Little Man 我给你三天。
Wǒ gěi nǐ sān tiān.
I'll give you three days.
- The Little Man 三天以后，你知道我的名字，孩子就是你的。
Sān tiān yǐhòu, nǐ zhīdào wǒ de míngzi, háizi jiù shì nǐ de.
After three days, if you know my name, the child is yours.

- The Little Man 你猜吧！哈哈哈！三天！

- The Little Man 王后！我来了！我叫什么名字？
Wánghòu! Wǒ lái le! Wǒ jiào shénme míngzi?
Queen! I'm here! What's my name?
- Anna 我猜……你叫汤姆吗？
Wǒ cāi... nǐ jiào Tāngmǔ ma?
I guess... is your name Tom?
- The Little Man 不对！
Bú duì!
Wrong!
- Anna 你叫杰克吗？
Nǐ jiào Jiékè ma?

- The Little Man 不对！明天我再来！

Wrong! I'll come again tomorrow!
- Narrator 第二天，小人又来了。

On the second day, the little man came again.
- Anna 我猜……你叫小猫吗？

I guess... is your name Kitty?
- The Little Man 猫？哈哈哈！不对！
Māo? Hāhāhā! Bú duì!
A cat? Ha ha ha! Wrong!
- Anna 你叫米饭吗？
Nǐ jiào mǐfàn ma?
Is your name Rice?
- The Little Man 米饭？哈哈！不对！明天是最后一天，你要想好！
Mǐfàn? Hāhā! Bú duì! Míngtiān shì zuìhòu yì tiān, nǐ yào xiǎnghǎo!
Rice? Ha ha! Wrong! Tomorrow is the last day, so think hard!
- Anna 我不知道他的名字。我怎么办？我怎么办？
Wǒ bù zhīdào tā de míngzi. Wǒ zěnme bàn? Wǒ zěnme bàn?
I don't know his name. What do I do? What do I do?
- Anna 我叫人去山里找了……那个人还没回来。
Wǒ jiào rén qù shān lǐ zhǎo le... nàge rén hái méi huílái.
I sent a man to search the mountains... he hasn't come back yet.
- The Messenger 王后！王后！我回来了！
Wánghòu! Wánghòu! Wǒ huílái le!
Queen! Queen! I'm back!
- The Messenger 我在山里看到一个小人！他很小很小！
Wǒ zài shān lǐ kàndào yí gè xiǎorén! Tā hěn xiǎo hěn xiǎo!
In the mountains I saw a little man! He was tiny, tiny!
