She's very beautiful. But from the way she looks at me, I'm not very welcome.
- Laura Lyons 你是谁？你找我有什么事？

Who are you? What do you want with me?

The moment I said 'Sir Charles,' her face went red.
- Laura Lyons 查尔斯爵士？你为什么问这个？
Chá'ěrsī Juéshì? Nǐ wèishénme wèn zhège?
Sir Charles? Why are you asking about him?
- Dr. Watson 你给他写过信吗？
Nǐ gěi tā xiěguo xìn ma?
Did you ever write to him?
- Laura Lyons 没有。我……我只是认识他。斯台普顿先生把我的事告诉了他，他就帮了我。
Méiyǒu. Wǒ… wǒ zhǐshì rènshi tā. Sītáipǔdùn xiānsheng bǎ wǒ de shì gàosu le tā, tā jiù bāng le wǒ.
No. I... I only knew him. Mr. Stapleton told him about my troubles, and he helped me.
- Dr. Watson 可是那封信没有烧完。最后几句还在：“十点钟，到小门那儿来。”
Kěshì nà fēng xìn méiyǒu shāo wán. Zuìhòu jǐ jù hái zài: “Shí diǎn zhōng, dào xiǎo mén nàr lái.”
But that letter didn't burn all the way. The last lines are still there: 'At ten o'clock, come to the little gate.'
- Laura Lyons ……好吧，是我写的。下面那两个字母，就是我的名字。
… Hǎo ba, shì wǒ xiě de. Xiàmiàn nà liǎng gè zìmǔ, jiù shì wǒ de míngzi.
...All right, I wrote it. Those two letters at the bottom are my name.
- Dr. Watson 你为什么要他晚上十点，到那个小门去？
Nǐ wèishénme yào tā wǎnshang shí diǎn, dào nàge xiǎo mén qù?
Why did you want him at that little gate at ten at night?
- Laura Lyons 我那时候很需要钱。他第二天就要去伦敦了，我只有那一个晚上。
Wǒ nà shíhou hěn xūyào qián. Tā dì èr tiān jiù yào qù Lúndūn le, wǒ zhǐyǒu nà yí gè wǎnshang.
I needed money badly then. He was leaving for London the next day. That night was my only chance.
- Dr. Watson 那为什么不去庄园里面找他？

Then why not go into the Hall to see him?
- Laura Lyons 晚上，一个女人去一个男人的家？别人会怎么说我？

A woman going to a man's house at night? What would people say about me?
- Dr. Watson 你要钱做什么？

What did you need the money for?
- Laura Lyons 我丈夫对我很坏。他早就走了，可是我还是他的太太。有了钱，我才能离开他。
Wǒ zhàngfu duì wǒ hěn huài. Tā zǎo jiù zǒu le, kěshì wǒ háishi tā de tàitai. Yǒu le qián, wǒ cái néng líkāi tā.
My husband treated me cruelly. He left long ago, but I'm still his wife. Only with money could I be free of him.
- Dr. Watson 那天晚上，你去了吗？
Nà tiān wǎnshang, nǐ qù le ma?
And that night, did you go?
- Laura Lyons 没有，我没有去。因为……后来，有别人帮了我。
Méiyǒu, wǒ méiyǒu qù. Yīnwèi… hòulái, yǒu biérén bāng le wǒ.
No, I didn't go. Because... later, I got help from someone else.
- Dr. Watson 别人？是谁？
Biérén? Shì shéi?
Someone else? Who?
- Laura Lyons 这是我自己的事，跟你没有关系。华生医生，请你走吧。
Zhè shì wǒ zìjǐ de shì, gēn nǐ méiyǒu guānxi. Huáshēng yīshēng, qǐng nǐ zǒu ba.
That's my own business, not yours. Dr. Watson, please go.
- Dr. Watson 她没有说实话。每一个问题，她都只说了一半……她还有秘密。
Tā méiyǒu shuō shíhuà. Měi yí gè wèntí, tā dōu zhǐ shuō le yíbàn… tā hái yǒu mìmì.
She didn't tell the truth. Every answer was only half an answer... she's still keeping a secret.
- Narrator 回去的路上，华生经过弗兰克兰的家。老人站在门口，大声叫他。
Huíqù de lù shang, Huáshēng jīngguò Fúlánkèlán de jiā. Lǎorén zhàn zài ménkǒu, dàshēng jiào tā.
On the way back, Watson passed Frankland's house. The old man stood at his door and called out to him.
- Mr. Frankland 华生医生！快进来！我又告了两个人，都赢了！
Huáshēng yīshēng! Kuài jìnlái! Wǒ yòu gào le liǎng gè rén, dōu yíng le!
Dr. Watson! Come in, come in! I've sued two more people, and I won both cases!
- Dr. Watson 弗兰克兰先生，荒原上还有您没告过的人吗？
Fúlánkèlán xiānsheng, huāngyuán shang hái yǒu nín méi gàoguo de rén ma?
Mr. Frankland, is there anyone on the moor you haven't sued yet?
- Mr. Frankland 哈哈！还有警察！逃犯在哪儿，我知道，可是我不告诉他们！
Hāhā! Hái yǒu jǐngchá! Táofàn zài nǎr, wǒ zhīdào, kěshì wǒ bú gàosu tāmen!
Ha! Just the police! I know where the convict is, but I won't tell them!

How could you know that?
- Mr. Frankland 我的望远镜什么都看得见！有一个小男孩，每天给逃犯送吃的！
Wǒ de wàngyuǎnjìng shénme dōu kàn de jiàn! Yǒu yí gè xiǎo nánhái, měitiān gěi táofàn sòng chī de!
My telescope sees everything! There's a little boy who takes the convict food every day!
- Dr. Watson 给逃犯？不……巴里摩尔给赛尔登送吃的。这个男孩，是给山上那个人送的！
Gěi táofàn? Bù… Bālǐmó'ěr gěi Sài'ěrdēng sòng chī de. Zhège nánhái, shì gěi shān shang nàge rén sòng de!
For the convict? No... Barrymore feeds Selden. This boy is taking food to the man on the hill!
- Mr. Frankland 快来看！就是他！
Kuài lái kàn! Jiù shì tā!
Quick, come and look! There he is!
- Dr. Watson 一个小男孩，拿着一个包……他在往山上爬。
Yí gè xiǎo nánhái, názhe yí gè bāo… tā zài wǎng shān shang pá.
A small boy, carrying a bundle... he's climbing the hill.
- Mr. Frankland 看见了吧？我天天都看得见他！
Kànjiàn le ba? Wǒ tiāntiān dōu kàn de jiàn tā!
See? I see him every single day!
- Dr. Watson 他走进了山上的石头中间……不见了！
Tā zǒu jìn le shān shang de shítou zhōngjiān… bú jiàn le!
He's gone in among the rocks on the hilltop... and vanished!
