逃犯
Mrs. Barrymore's tearful confession explains the candle, and Watson and Sir Henry head out onto the night moor, gun in hand.

Two in the morning, in an upstairs room of the Hall. Three men stood by the window. Out on the moor, the little yellow light was still shining.
- Sir Henry 巴里摩尔，你的蜡烛是给谁看的？外面那个人是谁？说实话！
Bālǐmó'ěr, nǐ de làzhú shì gěi shéi kàn de? Wàimiàn nàge rén shì shéi? Shuō shíhuà!
Barrymore, who is your candle for? Who's that out there? Tell the truth!
- Barrymore 先生，请您别再问了。这件事，我真的不能告诉您。
Xiānsheng, qǐng nín bié zài wèn le. Zhè jiàn shì, wǒ zhēn de bù néng gàosu nín.
Sir, please don't ask me again. I truly can't tell you this.

No, sir! It's all my fault, sir! I'm the one who made him light the candle!

Mrs. Barrymore? You know about this too?
- Mrs. Barrymore 外面的人，是我弟弟。那个逃犯……赛尔登，是我的弟弟。
Wàimiàn de rén, shì wǒ dìdi. Nàge táofàn… Sài'ěrdēng, shì wǒ de dìdi.
The man out there is my brother. That escaped convict... Selden is my little brother.
- Sir Henry 什么？那个杀过人的逃犯，是你的弟弟？
Shénme? Nàge shāguo rén de táofàn, shì nǐ de dìdi?
What? That convict who killed people is your brother?
- Mrs. Barrymore 他躲在荒原上，没有吃的，快饿死了。蜡烛的意思是：吃的准备好了，快来拿。
Tā duǒ zài huāngyuán shang, méiyǒu chī de, kuài è sǐ le. Làzhú de yìsi shì: chī de zhǔnbèi hǎo le, kuài lái ná.
He's hiding on the moor with nothing to eat. He's starving. The candle means: the food is ready, come and get it.
- Barrymore 他那边的光，意思是：我在这儿。先生，那是我太太的秘密，所以我不能说。
Tā nàbiān de guāng, yìsi shì: wǒ zài zhèr. Xiānsheng, nà shì wǒ tàitai de mìmì, suǒyǐ wǒ bù néng shuō.
His light out there means: I'm here. Sir, it was my wife's secret, so I couldn't tell it.
- Mrs. Barrymore 他做过很多坏事，我知道。可是先生……他是我弟弟啊。
Tā zuòguo hěn duō huàishì, wǒ zhīdào. Kěshì xiānsheng… tā shì wǒ dìdi a.
He's done a lot of bad things, I know. But sir... he's my brother.
- Sir Henry 好了，别哭了。你们不用走了，先回去睡觉吧。
Hǎo le, bié kū le. Nǐmen bú yòng zǒu le, xiān huíqù shuìjiào ba.
All right, don't cry. You don't have to leave. Now go back to bed, both of you.
- Barrymore 谢谢您，先生！谢谢您！
Xièxie nín, xiānsheng! Xièxie nín!

- Sir Henry 华生，那个逃犯就在那一点光旁边。我们现在就去抓他！
Huáshēng, nàge táofàn jiù zài nà yìdiǎn guāng pángbiān. Wǒmen xiànzài jiù qù zhuā tā!
Watson, the convict is right there by that little light. Let's go and catch him now!
- Dr. Watson 好！我带上枪。亨利爵士，你走在我旁边。
Hǎo! Wǒ dài shàng qiāng. Hēnglì Juéshì, nǐ zǒu zài wǒ pángbiān.
Right! I'll bring my gun. Sir Henry, stay beside me.
- Narrator 两个人很快走进了荒原。风很冷，那一点黄光就在前面。
Liǎng gè rén hěn kuài zǒu jìn le huāngyuán. Fēng hěn lěng, nà yìdiǎn huáng guāng jiù zài qiánmiàn.
The two men were soon out on the moor. The wind was cold, and the little yellow light was just ahead.
- Dr. Watson 小心，亨利爵士。他以前杀过人，什么事都做得出来。
Xiǎoxīn, Hēnglì Juéshì. Tā yǐqián shāguo rén, shénme shì dōu zuò de chūlái.
Careful, Sir Henry. He's killed before. He's capable of anything.
- Sir Henry 我不怕！在加拿大，我常常一个人走夜路，比这儿黑多了！
Wǒ bú pà! Zài Jiānádà, wǒ chángcháng yí gè rén zǒu yèlù, bǐ zhèr hēi duō le!
I'm not afraid! In Canada I often walked alone at night, and it was much darker than here!
- Sir Henry 华生……你听！那是什么声音？
Huáshēng… nǐ tīng! Nà shì shénme shēngyīn?
Watson... listen! What's that sound?
- Dr. Watson 斯台普顿说，这里的人叫它“巴斯克维尔的猎犬”。
Sītáipǔdùn shuō, zhèlǐ de rén jiào tā “Bāsīkèwéi'ěr de lièquǎn”.
Stapleton says the people here call it 'the Hound of the Baskervilles.'
- Sir Henry 那是猎犬，对不对？华生，你说实话。
Nà shì lièquǎn, duì bu duì? Huáshēng, nǐ shuō shíhuà.
That's a hound, isn't it? Watson, tell me the truth.
- Dr. Watson 他说过，那也许是一只很少见的鸟。
Tā shuōguo, nà yěxǔ shì yì zhī hěn shǎo jiàn de niǎo.
He told me it might be some rare bird.
- Sir Henry 鸟？那这只鸟，一定比一头牛还大！
Niǎo? Nà zhè zhī niǎo, yídìng bǐ yì tóu niú hái dà!
A bird? Then that bird must be bigger than a cow!
- Dr. Watson 看！石头中间有一根蜡烛……蜡烛旁边，有一张脸！
Kàn! Shítou zhōngjiān yǒu yì gēn làzhú… làzhú pángbiān, yǒu yì zhāng liǎn!
Look! There's a candle between the rocks... and beside it, a face!
- Sir Henry 好可怕的脸！头发这么长，胡子这么脏，像动物一样！
Hǎo kěpà de liǎn! Tóufa zhème cháng, húzi zhème zāng, xiàng dòngwù yíyàng!
What a terrible face! Such long hair, such a filthy beard, like an animal's!
- Dr. Watson 就是他，那个逃犯！站住！
Jiù shì tā, nàge táofàn! Zhànzhù!
That's him, the convict! Stop!
- Sir Henry 小心，华生，有石头！
Xiǎoxīn, Huáshēng, yǒu shítou!
Look out, Watson, a rock!
- Dr. Watson 他从石头上跳过去，往山上跑了……他跑得太快了！
Tā cóng shítou shang tiào guòqù, wǎng shān shang pǎo le… tā pǎo de tài kuài le!
He's leaped over the rocks and run up the hill... he's too fast!
- Narrator 这时候，月亮从云后面出来了。
Zhè shíhou, yuèliang cóng yún hòumiàn chūlái le.
Just then, the moon came out from behind the clouds.
- Dr. Watson 山上站着一个人……又高又瘦，一动也不动。那不是逃犯！
Shān shang zhànzhe yí gè rén… yòu gāo yòu shòu, yí dòng yě bú dòng. Nà bú shì táofàn!
There's a man standing on the hill... tall and thin, perfectly still. That's not the convict!
- Dr. Watson 亨利爵士，快看，山上有一个人！
Hēnglì Juéshì, kuài kàn, shān shang yǒu yí gè rén!
Sir Henry, quick, look! There's a man on the hill!
- Sir Henry 哪儿？华生，山上一个人也没有啊！
Nǎr? Huáshēng, shān shang yí gè rén yě méiyǒu a!
Where? Watson, there's nobody on the hill!
