A fox! A fox! Somebody come quick!
- Fox 别叫了！别叫了！太吵了！
Bié jiào le! Bié jiào le! Tài chǎo le!
Stop shouting! Stop it! It's too loud!
- Duck 他怕了！大鹅，你再大声叫！
Tā pà le! Dà'é, nǐ zài dàshēng jiào!
He's scared! Goose, shout even louder!
- Goose 有狐狸！有狐狸！快来人啊！
Yǒu húli! Yǒu húli! Kuài lái rén a!
A fox! A fox! Somebody come quick!
- Fox 哎呀，我的耳朵！我的耳朵好疼啊！
Āiyā, wǒ de ěrduo! Wǒ de ěrduo hǎo téng a!
Ow, my ears! My ears hurt so much!
- Fox 我不吃了！我不吃你们了！
Wǒ bù chī le! Wǒ bù chī nǐmen le!
I won't eat you! I give up!
- Narrator 狐狸跑回了洞里，再也没有出来。
Húli pǎo huí le dòng lǐ, zài yě méiyǒu chūlái.
The fox ran back into his den and did not come out again.
- Duck 他走了！他真的走了！
Tā zǒu le! Tā zhēn de zǒu le!
He's gone! He's really gone!
- Goose 我们……安全了。可是我的嘴好疼。
Wǒmen… ānquán le. Kěshì wǒ de zuǐ hǎo téng.
We're... safe. But my beak really hurts.
- Narrator 第二天早上，太阳出来了。他们回到了大树下面。
Dì èr tiān zǎoshang, tàiyáng chūlái le. Tāmen huí dào le dà shù xiàmiàn.
The next morning, the sun came out. They went back to the big tree.
- Little Red Hen 你们看！地上有一个橡果！
Nǐmen kàn! Dìshang yǒu yí gè xiàngguǒ!
Look! There's an acorn on the ground!
- Duck 橡果？就是它打了你的头吗？
Xiàngguǒ? Jiù shì tā dǎ le nǐ de tóu ma?
An acorn? That's what hit your head?
- Little Red Hen 对……是橡果。不是天。
Duì… shì xiàngguǒ. Bú shì tiān.
Yes... it was an acorn. Not the sky.
- Goose 天没有塌！天还在上面，没有事！
Tiān méiyǒu tā! Tiān hái zài shàngmiàn, méiyǒu shì!
The sky didn't fall! It's still up there, just fine!
- Little Red Hen 我错了。对不起，朋友们。
Wǒ cuò le. Duìbuqǐ, péngyoumen.
I was wrong. I'm sorry, friends.
- Duck 没关系。我们现在都很好。
Méi guānxi. Wǒmen xiànzài dōu hěn hǎo.
It's okay. We're all fine now.
- Goose 而且，我们还认识了狐狸！
Érqiě, wǒmen hái rènshi le húli!
And besides, we got to meet a fox!
- Duck 我可不想再认识他了！
Wǒ kě bù xiǎng zài rènshi tā le!
I really don't want to meet him again!
- Little Red Hen 以后，我先看清楚，再说话。
Yǐhòu, wǒ xiān kàn qīngchu, zài shuōhuà.
From now on, I'll look carefully first, then speak.
- Goose 你们看，今天的天多蓝啊！
Nǐmen kàn, jīntiān de tiān duō lán a!
Look, how blue the sky is today!
- Duck 我也是。以后我先想一想，再跑。
Wǒ yě shì. Yǐhòu wǒ xiān xiǎng yi xiǎng, zài pǎo.
Me too. From now on I will think first, then run.
- Little Red Hen 是啊。天气真好，太阳也很大。我们一起玩吧！
Shì a. Tiānqì zhēn hǎo, tàiyáng yě hěn dà. Wǒmen yìqǐ wán ba!
It is. Lovely weather and a warm sun. Let's play together!
