Dàrén, wǒ zhǐshì zuò le yí gè péngyou gāi zuò de shì.
Sir, I only did what a friend should do.
- The Cardinal 你知道我可以怎么对你吗？
Nǐ zhīdào wǒ kěyǐ zěnme duì nǐ ma?
Do you know what I could do to you?
- D'Artagnan 知道。可是我不后悔。王后需要帮助，我就去了。
Zhīdào. Kěshì wǒ bú hòuhuǐ. Wánghòu xūyào bāngzhù, wǒ jiù qù le.
I do. But I don't regret it. The queen needed help, so I went.
- The Cardinal 哈！我有很多聪明的手下，可是很少有勇敢的手下。
Hā! Wǒ yǒu hěn duō cōngming de shǒuxià, kěshì hěn shǎo yǒu yǒnggǎn de shǒuxià.
Ha! I have many clever servants, but very few brave ones.
- The Cardinal 这张纸给你。写上名字，你就是真正的火枪手了。
Zhè zhāng zhǐ gěi nǐ. Xiěshang míngzi, nǐ jiùshì zhēnzhèng de huǒqiāngshǒu le.
This paper is for you. Write a name on it, and that person is a true musketeer.
- D'Artagnan 我……我可以拿吗？可是您是我的敌人！
Wǒ… wǒ kěyǐ ná ma? Kěshì nín shì wǒ de dírén!
I... may I take it? But you are my enemy!
- The Cardinal 今天不是。今天，我只是喜欢勇敢的人。拿去吧。
Jīntiān bú shì. Jīntiān, wǒ zhǐshì xǐhuan yǒnggǎn de rén. Ná qù ba.
Not today. Today I simply like brave people. Take it.
- D'Artagnan 谢谢您，大人！
Xièxie nín, dàrén!
Thank you, sir!
- The Cardinal 去吧。你的朋友们，在小酒馆里等你很久了。
Qù ba. Nǐ de péngyoumen, zài xiǎo jiǔguǎn lǐ děng nǐ hěn jiǔ le.
Go. Your friends have been waiting for you at the tavern for a long time.
- Porthos 达达尼昂！这儿！你看，我的手臂好了一半！
Dádá Ní'áng! Zhèr! Nǐ kàn, wǒ de shǒubì hǎo le yíbàn!
D'Artagnan! Over here! Look, my arm is half healed!
- Aramis 我的手也好了。红衣主教的人，跑得没有我们快。
Wǒ de shǒu yě hǎo le. Hóngyī zhǔjiào de rén, pǎo de méiyǒu wǒmen kuài.
My hand is better too. The Cardinal's men couldn't run as fast as us.
- Athos 你回来就好。我们等了你很久。
Nǐ huílái jiù hǎo. Wǒmen děng le nǐ hěn jiǔ.
It's good that you're back. We've waited a long time.
- D'Artagnan 你们都没事！我一路上都在想……我以为……
Nǐmen dōu méi shì! Wǒ yílù shang dōu zài xiǎng… wǒ yǐwéi…
You're all fine! I thought about it the whole way... I thought...
- Athos 我们不会那么容易输的。坐下吧。
Wǒmen bú huì nàme róngyì shū de. Zuò xià ba.
We don't lose that easily. Sit down.
- Porthos 快说说伦敦的事！公爵有多高？他的钻石大吗？
Kuài shuōshuo Lúndūn de shì! Gōngjué yǒu duō gāo? Tā de zuànshí dà ma?
Tell us about London! How tall is the duke? Are his diamonds big?
- D'Artagnan 伦敦的事，明天再讲。现在，我有一样东西要给你们看。红衣主教给我的纸。
Lúndūn de shì, míngtiān zài jiǎng. Xiànzài, wǒ yǒu yí yàng dōngxi yào gěi nǐmen kàn. Hóngyī zhǔjiào gěi wǒ de zhǐ.
London can wait until tomorrow. Right now I have something to show you. A paper the Cardinal gave me.
- Aramis 红衣主教给的纸？我们要小心。
Hóngyī zhǔjiào gěi de zhǐ? Wǒmen yào xiǎoxīn.
A paper from the Cardinal? We should be careful.
- Porthos 红衣主教给你纸？他一定是想让你别再找他的麻烦！
Hóngyī zhǔjiào gěi nǐ zhǐ? Tā yídìng shì xiǎng ràng nǐ bié zài zhǎo tā de máfan!
The Cardinal gives you a paper? He must want you to stop bothering him!
- D'Artagnan 不管他想什么，我们四个人在一起，我就不怕。
Bùguǎn tā xiǎng shénme, wǒmen sì gè rén zài yìqǐ, wǒ jiù bú pà.
Whatever he wants, when the four of us are together I'm not afraid.
- D'Artagnan 这上面可以写一个火枪手的名字。阿多斯，这张纸给你。
Zhè shàngmiàn kěyǐ xiě yí gè huǒqiāngshǒu de míngzi. Āduōsī, zhè zhāng zhǐ gěi nǐ.
A musketeer's name can be written on it. Athos, this paper is for you.
- Athos 不。我不需要。给波尔多斯吧。
Bù. Wǒ bù xūyào. Gěi Bō'ěrduōsī ba.
No. I don't need it. Give it to Porthos.
- Porthos 我？我的披风，比这张纸有名多了！给阿拉密斯吧！
Wǒ? Wǒ de pīfēng, bǐ zhè zhāng zhǐ yǒumíng duō le! Gěi Ālāmìsī ba!
Me? My cloak is far more famous than that paper! Give it to Aramis!
- Aramis 不要给我。我只想要一块新手帕。达达尼昂，这张纸是你的。
Búyào gěi wǒ. Wǒ zhǐ xiǎng yào yí kuài xīn shǒupà. Dádá Ní'áng, zhè zhāng zhǐ shì nǐ de.
Not me. All I want is a new handkerchief. D'Artagnan, this paper is yours.
- D'Artagnan 可是……我们四个人，一个也不要吗？
Kěshì… wǒmen sì gè rén, yí gè yě bú yào ma?
But... none of the four of us wants it?
- Athos 你去了伦敦，你回来了。你不要，谁要？
Nǐ qù le Lúndūn, nǐ huílái le. Nǐ bú yào, shéi yào?
You went to London and you came back. If you don't take it, who will?
- D'Artagnan 好……我写。我写我自己的名字。
Hǎo… wǒ xiě. Wǒ xiě wǒ zìjǐ de míngzi.
All right... I'll write. I'll write my own name.
- Porthos 好！我们的火枪手达达尼昂！
Hǎo! Wǒmen de huǒqiāngshǒu Dádá Ní'áng!

- Aramis 来，大家举起杯子。
