I must see the Duke of Buckingham! I have a letter from the queen!
- Duke of Buckingham 王后的信？快给我！

The queen is in great trouble. The ball is in five days, and the king wants to see her wearing the diamonds.
- Duke of Buckingham 五天！我明白了。来，我把盒子打开。
Wǔ tiān! Wǒ míngbai le. Lái, wǒ bǎ hézi dǎkāi.
Five days! I understand. Come, I'll open the box.
- Duke of Buckingham 一颗，两颗，三颗……十颗……啊！
Yì kē, liǎng kē, sān kē… shí kē… Ā!
One, two, three... ten... Ah!
- Duke of Buckingham 只有十颗！少了两颗！
Zhǐyǒu shí kē! Shǎo le liǎng kē!
Only ten! Two are missing!
- D'Artagnan 少了？谁会这么大胆，偷王后的钻石？
Shǎo le? Shéi huì zhème dàdǎn, tōu wánghòu de zuànshí?
Missing? Who would be bold enough to steal the queen's diamonds?
- Duke of Buckingham 我想起来了。上一次的舞会，有一位夫人一直站在我身边，还对我笑了很久……
Wǒ xiǎng qǐlái le. Shàng yí cì de wǔhuì, yǒu yí wèi fūrén yìzhí zhàn zài wǒ shēnbiān, hái duì wǒ xiào le hěn jiǔ…
I remember now. At the last ball, a certain lady stayed close to me all night, smiling at me...
- Duke of Buckingham 她叫米拉迪。她是红衣主教的人！
Tā jiào Mǐlādí. Tā shì hóngyī zhǔjiào de rén!
Her name is Milady. She works for the Cardinal!
- D'Artagnan 那红衣主教就知道王后的秘密了！怎么办？
Nà hóngyī zhǔjiào jiù zhīdào wánghòu de mìmì le! Zěnme bàn?
Then the Cardinal knows the queen's secret! What do we do?
- Duke of Buckingham 不要怕。我们做两颗新的，和旧的一样。
Búyào pà. Wǒmen zuò liǎng kē xīn de, hé jiù de yíyàng.
Don't be afraid. We'll make two new ones, just like the old.
- Duke of Buckingham 全伦敦最好的老师傅，我现在就叫他来。
Quán Lúndūn zuì hǎo de lǎo shīfu, wǒ xiànzài jiù jiào tā lái.
The finest old craftsman in all London. I'll send for him right now.
- Duke of Buckingham 你累吗？先喝一杯热茶，吃点东西。
Nǐ lèi ma? Xiān hē yì bēi rè chá, chī diǎn dōngxi.
Are you tired? First have a hot cup of tea and something to eat.
- D'Artagnan 我不累！我只想快点看到新的钻石！
Wǒ bú lèi! Wǒ zhǐ xiǎng kuài diǎn kàndào xīn de zuànshí!
I'm not tired! I only want to see the new diamonds quickly!
- Narrator 天亮以前，老师傅已经开始做钻石了。
Tiān liàng yǐqián, lǎo shīfu yǐjīng kāishǐ zuò zuànshí le.
Before dawn, the old craftsman had already started making the diamonds.
- The Old Craftsman 公爵大人，这两颗钻石，要用一整天，一分钟也不能少。
Gōngjué dàrén, zhè liǎng kē zuànshí, yào yòng yì zhěng tiān, yì fēnzhōng yě bù néng shǎo.
Your Grace, these two diamonds will take a whole day, not a minute less.
- Duke of Buckingham 一整天可以。不要做得不好，也不要做得太慢。
Yì zhěng tiān kěyǐ. Búyào zuò de bù hǎo, yě búyào zuò de tài màn.
A whole day is fine. Don't make them badly, and don't make them too slowly.
- The Old Craftsman 好东西不能急。急了，就不是好东西了。
Hǎo dōngxi bù néng jí. Jí le, jiù bú shì hǎo dōngxi le.
Good things can't be rushed. Rush them, and they stop being good.
- D'Artagnan 可是先生，我的朋友都在路上等着我……
Kěshì xiānsheng, wǒ de péngyou dōu zài lù shang děng zhe wǒ…
But sir, my friends are all waiting for me on the road...
- The Old Craftsman 年轻人，你去睡一会儿。你醒来的时候，钻石就好了。
Niánqīngrén, nǐ qù shuì yíhuìr. Nǐ xǐng lái de shíhou, zuànshí jiù hǎo le.
Young man, go and sleep a little. When you wake up, the diamonds will be ready.
- D'Artagnan 我睡不着。我想看着你做。
Wǒ shuì bù zháo. Wǒ xiǎng kàn zhe nǐ zuò.
I can't sleep. I want to watch you work.
- The Old Craftsman 哈哈，那你安静一点。
Hāhā, nà nǐ ānjìng yìdiǎn.
Ha, then be a little quieter.
- The Old Craftsman 好了！你看，哪两颗是新的，哪十颗是旧的？
Hǎo le! Nǐ kàn, nǎ liǎng kē shì xīn de, nǎ shí kē shì jiù de?
Done! Look: which two are new, and which ten are old?
- D'Artagnan 我……我看不出来！十二颗都一样亮！
Wǒ… wǒ kàn bù chūlái! Shí'èr kē dōu yíyàng liàng!
I... I can't tell! All twelve shine the same!
- The Old Craftsman 这就对了。
Zhè jiù duì le.
Exactly as it should be.
- The Old Craftsman 老人的手，比年轻人的眼睛还准。
Lǎorén de shǒu, bǐ niánqīngrén de yǎnjing hái zhǔn.
An old man's hands are sharper than a young man's eyes.
- Duke of Buckingham 太好了！我已经叫人关上了所有的港口，只有你的船可以走。
Tài hǎo le! Wǒ yǐjīng jiào rén guān shang le suǒyǒu de gǎngkǒu, zhǐyǒu nǐ de chuán kěyǐ zǒu.
Wonderful! I've had every harbor closed. Only your ship may leave.
- Duke of Buckingham 你的船天一亮就开。你只有四天了。
Nǐ de chuán tiān yí liàng jiù kāi. Nǐ zhǐyǒu sì tiān le.
Your ship sails at first light. You have only four days.
- D'Artagnan 谢谢公爵。我一定在舞会以前回去。
Xièxie gōngjué. Wǒ yídìng zài wǔhuì yǐqián huíqù.
Thank you, Duke. I will be back before the ball.
- Duke of Buckingham 回去以后，告诉王后：我永远是她的朋友。
Huíqù yǐhòu, gàosu wánghòu: wǒ yǒngyuǎn shì tā de péngyou.
When you return, tell the queen I will always be her friend.
- Duke of Buckingham 还有，小心一位金头发的夫人。米拉迪的笑，比剑还可怕。
Hái yǒu, xiǎoxīn yí wèi jīn tóufa de fūrén. Mǐlādí de xiào, bǐ jiàn hái kěpà.
And beware of a golden-haired lady. Milady's smile is more frightening than a sword.
- D'Artagnan 金头发的夫人……我见过她！她就坐在罗什福尔的马车里！
Jīn tóufa de fūrén… wǒ jiànguò tā! Tā jiù zuò zài Luóshífú'ěr de mǎchē lǐ!
A golden-haired lady... I've seen her! She sat in Rochefort's carriage!
