Oz keeps his promises to the three friends in his own very odd way. Then he whispers a plan to Dorothy: could it really take her home?

The next morning, the three friends went to see Oz.
- Wizard of Oz 稻草人，坐下。我先拿掉你的头。
Dàocǎorén, zuò xià. Wǒ xiān ná diào nǐ de tóu.
Scarecrow, sit down. First, I'll take off your head.
- Scarecrow 我的头？好吧……小心一点儿！
Wǒ de tóu? Hǎo ba… xiǎoxīn yìdiǎnr!
My head? Well, all right... be careful with it!

Out comes the straw, in go bran and pins... There! New brains!
- Scarecrow 头里有糠，有针……我觉得，我什么都知道了！
Tóu lǐ yǒu kāng, yǒu zhēn… wǒ juéde, wǒ shénme dōu zhīdào le!
Bran and pins in my head... I feel as if I know everything now!
- Wizard of Oz 铁皮人，我在你身上开一个小门。别怕！
Tiěpírén, wǒ zài nǐ shēnshang kāi yí gè xiǎo mén. Bié pà!
Tin Woodman, I'm going to cut a little door in your chest. Don't be afraid!
- Tin Woodman 我不怕。我没有心……还没有！
Wǒ bú pà. Wǒ méiyǒu xīn… hái méiyǒu!
I'm not afraid. I have no heart... not yet!
- Wizard of Oz 你看，这是丝做的心。
Nǐ kàn, zhè shì sī zuò de xīn.
Look, a heart made of silk.
- Tin Woodman 好漂亮！有了它，我就能爱了吗？
Hǎo piàoliang! Yǒu le tā, wǒ jiù néng ài le ma?
How beautiful! With this, will I be able to love?
- Wizard of Oz 能！这是很好的心。放进去……小门也修好了！
Néng! Zhè shì hěn hǎo de xīn. Fàng jìnqu… xiǎo mén yě xiū hǎo le!
Yes! It's a very kind heart. In it goes... and the little door is mended!
- Tin Woodman 我有心了！我……我好想哭！
Wǒ yǒu xīn le! Wǒ… wǒ hǎo xiǎng kū!
I have a heart! I... I want to cry!
- Scarecrow 别哭！我的新脑子说：哭了会生锈！
Bié kū! Wǒ de xīn nǎozi shuō: kū le huì shēngxiù!
Don't cry! My new brains say crying makes you rust!
- Wizard of Oz 狮子，你的勇气在这个绿瓶子里。
Shīzi, nǐ de yǒngqì zài zhège lǜ píngzi lǐ.
Lion, your courage is in this green bottle.
- Cowardly Lion 我什么都怕……也怕喝的东西！
Wǒ shénme dōu pà… yě pà hē de dōngxi!
I'm afraid of everything... drinks included!
- Wizard of Oz 喝吧。勇气在心里，才是勇气。
Hē ba. Yǒngqì zài xīn lǐ, cái shì yǒngqì.
Drink up. Courage only counts once it's inside you.
- Cowardly Lion 喝完了！我有勇气了！我什么都不怕了！
Hē wán le! Wǒ yǒu yǒngqì le! Wǒ shénme dōu bú pà le!
All gone! I have courage now! I'm not afraid of anything!
- Wizard of Oz 他们走了。大家都要我做不能做的事……我怎么能不做骗子呢？
Tāmen zǒu le. Dàjiā dōu yào wǒ zuò bù néng zuò de shì… wǒ zěnme néng bú zuò piànzi ne?
They've gone. Everyone wants me to do what can't be done... how can I help being a humbug?
- Narrator 三天以后，奥兹叫来了多萝西。
Sān tiān yǐhòu, Àozī jiào lái le Duōluóxī.
Three days later, Oz sent for Dorothy.
- Wizard of Oz 我坐热气球来的，我们就坐热气球飞过沙漠！
Wǒ zuò rèqìqiú lái de, wǒmen jiù zuò rèqìqiú fēi guò shāmò!
I came here in a balloon, so we'll fly over the desert in a balloon!
- Dorothy 我们？您也走？
Wǒmen? Nín yě zǒu?
We? You're coming too?
- Wizard of Oz 对！我不想再做骗子，也不想再有秘密了。
Duì! Wǒ bù xiǎng zài zuò piànzi, yě bù xiǎng zài yǒu mìmì le.
Yes! I'm tired of being a humbug, and tired of keeping secrets.
- Wizard of Oz 热气球要很多绿色的丝。你能帮我吗？
Rèqìqiú yào hěn duō lǜsè de sī. Nǐ néng bāng wǒ ma?
The balloon needs lots of green silk. Will you help me?
- Dorothy 我能！我要回家！
Wǒ néng! Wǒ yào huí jiā!
I can! I want to go home!
- Dorothy 做了三天，热气球做好了！明天我们飞……明天，我就到家了！
Zuò le sān tiān, rèqìqiú zuò hǎo le! Míngtiān wǒmen fēi… míngtiān, wǒ jiù dào jiā le!
Three days of sewing, and the balloon is ready! Tomorrow we fly... tomorrow I'll be home!
