In the witch's castle, Dorothy scrubs floors by day and sneaks food to the Lion by night. But the witch has a plan for those silver shoes.

In the witch's castle, Dorothy worked every day.

Toto, one bucket of water, then another... I'll never finish washing these floors!

Shīzi, jīntiān nǐ gěi wǒ lā chē ma?
Lion, will you pull my cart today?

Bù lā! Nǐ jìnlai, wǒ jiù yǎo nǐ!
No! You come in here, and I'll bite you!
- Witch of the West 不拉车？那你就别吃饭！
Bù lā chē? Nà nǐ jiù bié chīfàn!
You won't pull my cart? Then you'll get nothing to eat!
- Narrator 天天晚上，女巫睡着了，多萝西就拿吃的去找狮子。
Tiāntiān wǎnshang, nǚwū shuìzháo le, Duōluóxī jiù ná chī de qù zhǎo Shīzi.
Every night, once the witch was asleep, Dorothy took food to the Lion.
- Cowardly Lion 多萝西，谢谢你。没有你，我就饿坏了。
Duōluóxī, xièxie nǐ. Méiyǒu nǐ, wǒ jiù è huài le.
Dorothy, thank you. Without you, I'd be starving.
- Dorothy 我们怎么走出城堡？门口都是黄衣人。
Wǒmen zěnme zǒu chū chéngbǎo? Ménkǒu dōu shì Huángyīrén.
How can we get out of the castle? The People in Yellow are at every door.
- Cowardly Lion 晚上女巫不敢来。她怕黑。
Wǎnshang nǚwū bù gǎn lái. Tā pà hēi.
The witch never comes at night. She's afraid of the dark.
- Dorothy 她更怕水。她一次也没洗过手！
Tā gèng pà shuǐ. Tā yí cì yě méi xǐ guo shǒu!
She's even more afraid of water. She's never washed her hands, not once!
- Cowardly Lion 一次也没有？我是狮子，我都天天洗脸！
Yí cì yě méiyǒu? Wǒ shì shīzi, wǒ dōu tiāntiān xǐ liǎn!
Not once? I'm a lion, and even I wash my face every day!
- Dorothy 艾姆婶婶……我还能回家吗？
Àimǔ Shěnshen… wǒ hái néng huí jiā ma?
Aunt Em... will I ever get home?
- Cowardly Lion 能！别哭，多萝西。我们一定能走出去。
Néng! Bié kū, Duōluóxī. Wǒmen yídìng néng zǒu chūqu.
You will! Don't cry, Dorothy. We'll get out of here, I know it.
- Witch of the West 我不能打那个女孩……可是你，小狗，看我的伞！
Wǒ bù néng dǎ nàge nǚhái… kěshì nǐ, xiǎogǒu, kàn wǒ de sǎn!
I can't hit the girl... but you, little dog, here comes my umbrella!
- Toto 汪汪！
Wāngwāng!
Woof woof!
- Witch of the West 啊！它咬了我的腿！
À! Tā yǎo le wǒ de tuǐ!
Ow! It bit my leg!
- Dorothy 托托！她用伞打你了？你没事吧？
Tuōtuō! Tā yòng sǎn dǎ nǐ le? Nǐ méi shì ba?
Toto! Did she hit you with her umbrella? Are you all right?
- Witch of the West 狼、黑鸟、蜜蜂都没有了，飞猴也叫不来了。我要银鞋！
Láng, hēi niǎo, mìfēng dōu méiyǒu le, fēihóu yě jiào bu lái le. Wǒ yào yínxié!
My wolves, crows and bees are gone, and I can't call the Winged Monkeys any more. I want those silver shoes!
- Witch of the West 有了！我用魔法，在地上放上看不见的铁条！
Yǒu le! Wǒ yòng mófǎ, zài dìshang fàngshang kàn bu jiàn de tiětiáo!
I've got it! With a little magic, I'll lay an iron bar on the floor that nobody can see!
- Narrator 第二天，多萝西在地上放了一桶水，要洗地。
Dì èr tiān, Duōluóxī zài dìshang fàng le yì tǒng shuǐ, yào xǐ dì.
The next day Dorothy set a bucket of water on the floor, ready to wash it.
- Dorothy 什么东西？……我的银鞋！
Shénme dōngxi? … Wǒ de yínxié!
What was that? ... My silver shoe!
- Witch of the West 我拿到了！这只银鞋，现在是我的了！
Wǒ ná dào le! Zhè zhī yínxié, xiànzài shì wǒ de le!
Got it! This silver shoe is mine now!
- Dorothy 我的鞋，还给我！
Wǒ de xié, huán gěi wǒ!
Give me back my shoe!
- Witch of the West 不！它是我的了。那一只，有一天也会是我的！
Bù! Tā shì wǒ de le. Nà yì zhī, yǒu yì tiān yě huì shì wǒ de!
No! It's mine now. And one day the other one will be mine too!
