Silver Shoes
银鞋
A good witch gives Dorothy a pair of silver shoes, a kiss and a road to follow. But nobody in the land knows what magic the shoes hold.

My house killed her… what do we do?
- Good Witch of the North 别怕，孩子，她是坏女巫。我是北方女巫，是一个好女巫。
Bié pà, háizi, tā shì huài nǚwū. Wǒ shì Běifāng Nǚwū, shì yí gè hǎo nǚwū.
Don't be afraid, child, she was a wicked witch. I am the Witch of the North, and I am a good witch.
- Dorothy 您也是女巫？我以为女巫都是坏的！
Nín yě shì nǚwū? Wǒ yǐwéi nǚwū dōu shì huài de!
You're a witch too? I thought all witches were wicked!
- Good Witch of the North 奥兹国有四个女巫。北边和南边的，是好女巫。
Àozī Guó yǒu sì gè nǚwū. Běibian hé nánbian de, shì hǎo nǚwū.
There are four witches in the Land of Oz. The ones in the north and the south are good.
- Good Witch of the North 东边和西边的，是坏女巫。现在，就还有西方女巫了。
Dōngbian hé xībian de, shì huài nǚwū. Xiànzài, jiù hái yǒu Xīfāng Nǚwū le.
The ones in the east and the west are wicked. Now only the Wicked Witch of the West is left.
- Narrator 太阳下，那两只脚一点一点干了。
Tàiyáng xià, nà liǎng zhī jiǎo yìdiǎn yìdiǎn gān le.
In the hot sun, the two feet dried up, little by little.
- Dorothy 脚没有了！可是银鞋还在！
Jiǎo méiyǒu le! Kěshì yínxié hái zài!
The feet are gone! But the silver shoes are still here!
- Good Witch of the North 银鞋是你的了。它们有魔法，可是什么魔法，我们都不知道。
Yínxié shì nǐ de le. Tāmen yǒu mófǎ, kěshì shénme mófǎ, wǒmen dōu bù zhīdào.
The silver shoes are yours now. There's magic in them, but what magic, none of us knows.
- Dorothy 我不要魔法，我想回家！您能送我回家吗？
Wǒ bú yào mófǎ, wǒ xiǎng huí jiā! Nín néng sòng wǒ huí jiā ma?
I don't want magic, I want to go home! Can you send me home?
- Good Witch of the North 可是奥兹国的四面都是大沙漠。没有人能走过沙漠。
Kěshì Àozī Guó de sìmiàn dōu shì dà shāmò. Méiyǒu rén néng zǒu guò shāmò.
But the Land of Oz has a great desert on every side. Nobody can cross the desert.
- Dorothy 那我……回不了家了？
Nà wǒ… huí bu liǎo jiā le?
Then I… can never go home?
- Narrator 多萝西哭了，蓝衣人也和她一起哭。
Duōluóxī kū le, Lányīrén yě hé tā yìqǐ kū.
Dorothy began to cry, and the People in Blue cried right along with her.
- Good Witch of the North 别哭了，孩子。我们问问我的帽子！
Bié kū le, háizi. Wǒmen wènwen wǒ de màozi!
Don't cry, child. Let's ask my hat!
- Dorothy 您的帽子……在您的鼻子上！
Nín de màozi… zài nín de bízi shang!
Your hat… it's on your nose!
- Good Witch of the North 一，二，三！
Yī, èr, sān!
One, two, three!
- Dorothy 帽子变成了一块小黑板！上边有字！
Màozi biànchéng le yí kuài xiǎo hēibǎn! Shàngbian yǒu zì!
The hat turned into a little slate! There's writing on it!
- Good Witch of the North “让多萝西去翡翠城。”孩子，你叫多萝西吗？
“Ràng Duōluóxī qù Fěicuìchéng.” Háizi, nǐ jiào Duōluóxī ma?
“Let Dorothy go to the Emerald City.” Child, is your name Dorothy?
- Dorothy 是啊！它怎么知道我的名字？
Shì a! Tā zěnme zhīdào wǒ de míngzi?
Yes! How does it know my name?
- Good Witch of the North 翡翠城里住着奥兹。他是大巫师，也许能帮你。
Fěicuìchéng lǐ zhù zhe Àozī. Tā shì dà wūshī, yěxǔ néng bāng nǐ.
Oz lives in the Emerald City. He is a great wizard, and perhaps he can help you.
- Dorothy 奥兹是好人吗？
Àozī shì hǎorén ma?
Is Oz a good man?
- Good Witch of the North 他是好巫师。是不是人……我不知道。我没有见过他。
Tā shì hǎo wūshī. Shì bu shì rén… wǒ bù zhīdào. Wǒ méiyǒu jiàn guo tā.
He is a good wizard. Whether he is a man… I can't say. I have never seen him.
- Good Witch of the North 路很长，有的地方很危险。来，我亲你一下。
Lù hěn cháng, yǒude dìfang hěn wēixiǎn. Lái, wǒ qīn nǐ yíxià.
The road is long, and some places are dangerous. Come, let me give you a kiss.
- Narrator 她亲了多萝西的头。那儿有了一个亮亮的记号。
Tā qīn le Duōluóxī de tóu. Nàr yǒu le yí gè liàngliàng de jìhao.
She kissed Dorothy on the forehead, and a shining mark was left there.
- Good Witch of the North 我亲过的孩子，没有人敢动她。
Wǒ qīn guo de háizi, méiyǒu rén gǎn dòng tā.
No one will dare to harm a child I have kissed.
- Good Witch of the North 走黄砖路，一直走，就能到翡翠城。
Zǒu Huángzhuān Lù, yìzhí zǒu, jiù néng dào Fěicuìchéng.
Follow the Yellow Brick Road, keep walking, and you'll come to the Emerald City.
- Narrator 北方女巫转了三圈，就看不见了。
Běifāng Nǚwū zhuàn le sān quān, jiù kàn bu jiàn le.
The Witch of the North spun around three times on her heel, and she was gone.
- Toto 汪汪！汪汪！
Wāngwāng! Wāngwāng!
Woof woof! Woof woof!
- Dorothy 她走了，你才叫？
Tā zǒu le, nǐ cái jiào?
You only bark now, after she's gone?
- Dorothy 银鞋……你们有什么魔法？
Yínxié… nǐmen yǒu shénme mófǎ?
Silver shoes… what magic do you have?
