The green balloon is ready, the whole city is watching, and Dorothy is about to fly home with Oz. Then Toto sees a kitten.

Great Wizard, the big basket is here!
- Wizard of Oz 大家听着！我要去云上，看我的巫师朋友。
Dàjiā tīng zhe! Wǒ yào qù yún shang, kàn wǒ de wūshī péngyou.
Hear me, everyone! I am going up to the clouds to visit a wizard friend of mine.

While I'm away, the Scarecrow will rule the Emerald City!
- Scarecrow 我管翡翠城？我的新脑子会很忙！

Me, rule the Emerald City? My new brains are going to be busy!
- Tin Woodman 火好了！你们看，绿色的丝大起来了！
Huǒ hǎo le! Nǐmen kàn, lǜsè de sī dà qǐlai le!
The fire's ready! Look, the green silk is filling up!
- Scarecrow 火！我站远一点儿……
Huǒ! Wǒ zhàn yuǎn yìdiǎnr…
Fire! I'll stand a little farther back...
- Wizard of Oz 多萝西，快来！我们要走了！
Duōluóxī, kuài lái! Wǒmen yào zǒu le!
Dorothy, quick! We're leaving!
- Toto 汪汪！汪汪！
Wāngwāng! Wāngwāng!
Woof! Woof!
- Dorothy 托托！别跑！那是一只小猫！
Tuōtuō! Bié pǎo! Nà shì yì zhī xiǎomāo!
Toto! Don't run off! It's only a kitten!
- Narrator 多萝西抱起托托，跑了回来。
Duōluóxī bàoqǐ Tuōtuō, pǎo le huílai.
Dorothy caught Toto up in her arms and ran back.
- Dorothy 等一下！我还没上去！回来！我也要去！
Děng yíxià! Wǒ hái méi shàngqu! Huílai! Wǒ yě yào qù!
Wait! I'm not in yet! Come back! I want to go too!
- Wizard of Oz 我回不去了，孩子！再见！
Wǒ huí bu qù le, háizi! Zàijiàn!
I can't come back, my dear! Goodbye!
- Narrator 热气球飞得很高很高，看不见了。
Rèqìqiú fēi de hěn gāo hěn gāo, kàn bu jiàn le.
The balloon rose higher and higher, until it was gone.
- Dorothy 他走了……我的家，又那么远了。
Tā zǒu le… wǒ de jiā, yòu nàme yuǎn le.
He's gone... and home is so far away again.
- Tin Woodman 奥兹给了我心……我想哭一会儿。快拿油来！
Àozī gěi le wǒ xīn… wǒ xiǎng kū yíhuìr. Kuài ná yóu lái!
Oz gave me my heart... I want to cry for a while. Quick, get the oil!
- Dorothy 哭吧。油在我这儿。
Kū ba. Yóu zài wǒ zhèr.
Go on and cry. I've got the oil.
- Scarecrow 我的糠和针在想……我有一个主意！金帽子，飞猴！
Wǒ de kāng hé zhēn zài xiǎng… wǒ yǒu yí gè zhǔyi! Jīn màozi, fēihóu!
My bran and pins are thinking... I have an idea! The Golden Cap, the Winged Monkeys!
- King of the Winged Monkeys 这是第二次了。你要去哪儿？
Zhè shì dì èr cì le. Nǐ yào qù nǎr?
This is the second time. Where do you wish to go?
- Dorothy 请带我回堪萨斯！
Qǐng dài wǒ huí Kānsàsī!
Please take me home to Kansas!
- King of the Winged Monkeys 不行。我们是这个国家的，不能飞过沙漠。
Bù xíng. Wǒmen shì zhège guójiā de, bù néng fēi guò shāmò.
That cannot be. We belong to this country, and we cannot fly over the desert.
- Scarecrow 多萝西，你就跟我们住在翡翠城吧！
Duōluóxī, nǐ jiù gēn wǒmen zhù zài Fěicuìchéng ba!
Dorothy, just stay and live with us in the Emerald City!
- Dorothy 谢谢你。可是，哪儿都没有家好。
Xièxie nǐ. Kěshì, nǎr dōu méiyǒu jiā hǎo.
Thank you. But there's no place like home.
- Soldier with the Green Whiskers 南方的好女巫格琳达，也许能帮你。不过，路上很危险。
Nánfāng de hǎo nǚwū Gélíndá, yěxǔ néng bāng nǐ. Búguò, lùshang hěn wēixiǎn.
Glinda, the Good Witch of the South, might help you. But the road is dangerous.
- Cowardly Lion 怕什么！我们一起去！
Pà shénme! Wǒmen yìqǐ qù!
Who's afraid? We'll all go together!
- Dorothy 好！明天我们去南方，找格琳达！
Hǎo! Míngtiān wǒmen qù nánfāng, zhǎo Gélíndá!
Yes! Tomorrow we go south, to find Glinda!
- Soldier with the Green Whiskers 小心……南方有奇怪的动物，还有更奇怪的人！
Xiǎoxīn… nánfāng yǒu qíguài de dòngwù, hái yǒu gèng qíguài de rén!
Be careful... the South has strange beasts, and even stranger people!
