With two tiger-bears on the bridge, the friends need a clever idea fast. Then come a wide river, a homemade raft and a current that won't let go.

The tiger-bears are coming! Dorothy, you and Toto cross first!
- Narrator 多萝西先从大树上走过了大沟，铁皮人和稻草人也过去了。
Duōluóxī xiān cóng dàshù shang zǒu guò le dà gōu, Tiěpírén hé Dàocǎorén yě guòqu le.
Dorothy crossed the great ditch on the tree first, and the Tin Woodman and the Scarecrow followed.
- Cowardly Lion 站住！别过来！
Zhànzhù! Bié guòlai!
Stop right there! Don't come any closer!

Kàn! Hǔtóuxióng bú dòng le! Shīzi, nǐ zhēn yǒu yǒngqì!
Look! The tiger-bears have stopped! Lion, you're so brave!
- Cowardly Lion 我？我……我好怕！
Wǒ? Wǒ… wǒ hǎo pà!
Me? I'm... I'm terrified!
- Scarecrow 狮子一叫，我就倒了！
Shīzi yí jiào, wǒ jiù dǎo le!
One roar from the Lion, and down I went!
- Dorothy 狮子，快来！
Shīzi, kuài lái!
Lion, come across, quick!
- Cowardly Lion 虎头熊也上桥了！多萝西，站在我后边。我跟它们打，打到最后！
Hǔtóuxióng yě shàng qiáo le! Duōluóxī, zhàn zài wǒ hòubian. Wǒ gēn tāmen dǎ, dǎ dào zuìhòu!
The tiger-bears are on the bridge too! Dorothy, stand behind me. I'll fight them as long as I can!
- Scarecrow 等一下！我没有脑子，可是我有一个主意！
Děng yíxià! Wǒ méiyǒu nǎozi, kěshì wǒ yǒu yí gè zhǔyi!
Wait! I have no brains, but I have an idea!
- Scarecrow 铁皮人，快用斧头砍我们这边的树！
Tiěpírén, kuài yòng fǔtóu kǎn wǒmen zhèbiān de shù!
Tin Woodman, quick, take your axe and chop the tree on our side!
- Narrator 大树和两只虎头熊，一起掉到了沟里。
Dàshù hé liǎng zhī Hǔtóuxióng, yìqǐ diào dào le gōu lǐ.
The tree fell into the ditch, and the two tiger-bears fell with it.
- Cowardly Lion 虎头熊不会再来了……我们还活着！
Hǔtóuxióng bú huì zài lái le… wǒmen hái huó zhe!
The tiger-bears won't be coming back... and we're still alive!
- Cowardly Lion 我的心还在跳呢！
Wǒ de xīn hái zài tiào ne!
My heart is still pounding!
- Tin Woodman 真好……我也想要会跳的心。
Zhēn hǎo… wǒ yě xiǎng yào huì tiào de xīn.
How lovely... I wish I had a heart that beats.
- Scarecrow 熊的身子，老虎的头……可是没有脑子！
Xióng de shēnzi, lǎohǔ de tóu… kěshì méiyǒu nǎozi!
Bears' bodies, tigers' heads... but no brains!
- Dorothy 你也说你没有脑子！
Nǐ yě shuō nǐ méiyǒu nǎozi!
But you say you have no brains yourself!
- Scarecrow 我的头里是稻草，可是我有主意！
Wǒ de tóu lǐ shì dàocǎo, kěshì wǒ yǒu zhǔyi!
My head may be full of straw, but I do have ideas!
- Narrator 下午，他们走出了森林。前边是一条大河。
Xiàwǔ, tāmen zǒu chū le sēnlín. Qiánbian shì yì tiáo dà hé.
That afternoon, they came out of the forest. In front of them was a wide river.
- Dorothy 黄砖路在河那边！我们怎么过去？
Huángzhuān Lù zài hé nàbiān! Wǒmen zěnme guòqu?
The Yellow Brick Road is on the other side! How do we get across?
- Tin Woodman 我来做一条木头船！
Wǒ lái zuò yì tiáo mùtou chuán!
I'll build us a raft!
- Scarecrow 多萝西，这儿有水果！
Duōluóxī, zhèr yǒu shuǐguǒ!
Dorothy, there's fruit over here!
- Dorothy 太好了！今天我就吃了一点儿坚果。
Tài hǎo le! Jīntiān wǒ jiù chī le yìdiǎnr jiānguǒ.
Wonderful! All I've had today is a few nuts.
- Narrator 那天晚上，多萝西吃了水果，在树下睡着了。
Nà tiān wǎnshang, Duōluóxī chī le shuǐguǒ, zài shù xià shuìzháo le.
That night, Dorothy ate the fruit and fell asleep under the trees.
- Tin Woodman 早上好！船做好了，我们走吧！
Zǎoshang hǎo! Chuán zuò hǎo le, wǒmen zǒu ba!
Good morning! The raft is ready. Let's go!
- Dorothy 狮子，慢一点儿！你太重了！
Shīzi, màn yìdiǎnr! Nǐ tài zhòng le!
Careful, Lion! You're too heavy!
- Tin Woodman 水流太快了！我们离黄砖路越来越远了！
Shuǐliú tài kuài le! Wǒmen lí Huángzhuān Lù yuè lái yuè yuǎn le!
The current's too fast! It's carrying us away from the Yellow Brick Road!
- Scarecrow 我们要去翡翠城！我用木头推！
Wǒmen yào qù Fěicuìchéng! Wǒ yòng mùtou tuī!
We have to get to the Emerald City! I'll push with my pole!
- Scarecrow 我的木头……出不来了！
Wǒ de mùtou… chū bu lái le!
My pole... it's stuck fast! It won't come out!
- Dorothy 稻草人！船走了，你还在那儿！
Dàocǎorén! Chuán zǒu le, nǐ hái zài nàr!
Scarecrow! The raft's moving on, and you're still back there!
- Scarecrow 再见，多萝西！再见！
Zàijiàn, Duōluóxī! Zàijiàn!
Goodbye, Dorothy! Goodbye!
