Delicious! Another bowl! This fish is better than the fish at my house! How much for your cook? I'll buy him!

This is my daughter Diaochan. My lord, do you like her?
- Dong Zhuo 喜欢！我太喜欢了！我要带她回家！
Xǐhuan! Wǒ tài xǐhuan le! Wǒ yào dài tā huíjiā!
I like her! I like her very much! I'll take her home!
- Wang Yun 大人，这是我的女儿，她从小跟着我，从来没有离开过家。
Dàren, zhè shì wǒ de nǚ'ér, tā cóngxiǎo gēn zhe wǒ, cónglái méiyǒu líkāi guo jiā.
My lord, she is my daughter. She has been with me since she was little and has never left home.
- Wang Yun 她还小，让她收拾一下，明天我再送去。
Tā hái xiǎo, ràng tā shōushi yíxià, míngtiān wǒ zài sòng qù.
She is young. Let her pack, and I'll send her tomorrow.
- Dong Zhuo 不行！今天晚上就走！我不想等！
Bù xíng! Jīntiān wǎnshang jiù zǒu! Wǒ bù xiǎng děng!
No! She goes tonight! I don't want to wait!
- Wang Yun 大人喜欢她，是她的福气。请，马车就在外面。
Dàren xǐhuan tā, shì tā de fúqi. Qǐng, mǎchē jiù zài wàimiàn.
It is her good fortune that you like her. Please, the carriage is outside.
- Dong Zhuo 貂蝉，上车！我的马车大，坐得下你和我的肚子！
Diāochán, shàng chē! Wǒ de mǎchē dà, zuò de xià nǐ hé wǒ de dùzi!
Diaochan, get in! My carriage is big enough for you and my belly!
- Diaochan 父亲，我走了。请您不要担心。
Fùqīn, wǒ zǒu le. Qǐng nín bú yào dānxīn.
Father, I'm going. Please don't worry.
- Diaochan 吕将军……对不起。我等的那一天，不会来了。
Lǚ jiāngjūn… duìbuqǐ. Wǒ děng de nà yì tiān, bú huì lái le.
General Lu... I'm sorry. The day I waited for will not come.
- Dong Zhuo 王允，你是我最好的朋友！走！回家！明天我给你升官！
Wáng Yǔn, nǐ shì wǒ zuì hǎo de péngyou! Zǒu! Huíjiā! Míngtiān wǒ gěi nǐ shēng guān!
Wang Yun, you're my best friend! Let's go! Home! Tomorrow I'll promote you!
- Lu Bu 王大人！好日子选好了吗？我等不及了！我连新衣服都买了！
Wáng dàren! Hǎo rìzi xuǎn hǎo le ma? Wǒ děng bù jí le! Wǒ lián xīn yīfu dōu mǎi le!
Minister Wang! Have you picked the good day? I can't wait! I even bought new clothes!
- Wang Yun 将军！你……你还不知道？
Jiāngjūn! Nǐ… nǐ hái bù zhīdào?
General! You... you don't know yet?
- Lu Bu 知道什么？出什么事了？
Zhīdào shénme? Chū shénme shì le?
Know what? What's happened?
- Wang Yun 唉，说来话长。将军，你先坐下，喝口茶。
Āi, shuō lái huà cháng. Jiāngjūn, nǐ xiān zuò xià, hē kǒu chá.
Ah, it's a long story. General, sit down first and have some tea.

Wǒ bú zuò! Kuài shuō!

- Wang Yun 昨天晚上，董大人来我家吃饭，看见了貂蝉，就把她带走了。
Zuótiān wǎnshang, Dǒng dàren lái wǒ jiā chīfàn, kànjiàn le Diāochán, jiù bǎ tā dài zǒu le.
Last night Lord Dong came to dinner, saw Diaochan and took her away.
- Wang Yun 他说，会给你办喜事，可是到现在，一个字也没有对我说。
Tā shuō, huì gěi nǐ bàn xǐshì, kěshì dào xiànzài, yí gè zì yě méiyǒu duì wǒ shuō.
He said he would arrange a wedding for you, but until now he hasn't said a word to me.
- Lu Bu 爸爸带走了她？他……没有对我说过。可是他昨天还叫我好儿子！
Bàba dài zǒu le tā? Tā… méiyǒu duì wǒ shuō guo. Kěshì tā zuótiān hái jiào wǒ hǎo érzi!
Father took her? He... never told me. But just yesterday he called me his good son!
- Wang Yun 已经一天了。貂蝉还在他的院子里。
Yǐjīng yì tiān le. Diāochán hái zài tā de yuànzi lǐ.
It's been a day already. Diaochan is still in his courtyard.
- Lu Bu 一天一夜……爸爸没有说话，也没有让她回来。这算什么爸爸？
Yì tiān yí yè… Bàba méiyǒu shuōhuà, yě méiyǒu ràng tā huílái. Zhè suàn shénme bàba?
A day and a night... Father has said nothing and hasn't sent her back. What kind of father is that?
- Wang Yun 将军，我只是个老人，我什么也不敢说。可是貂蝉，昨晚哭了。
Jiāngjūn, wǒ zhǐshì gè lǎorén, wǒ shénme yě bù gǎn shuō. Kěshì Diāochán, zuówǎn kū le.
General, I'm only an old man, I dare say nothing. But Diaochan cried last night.
- Lu Bu 她哭了？……
Tā kū le? …
She cried?...
- Lu Bu 貂蝉哭了……爸爸，您为什么不告诉我？
Diāochán kū le… Bàba, nín wèishénme bú gàosu wǒ?
Diaochan cried... Father, why didn't you tell me?
- Wang Yun 我只知道，她每天下午都会去凤仪亭看花……哎，我什么也没说。
Wǒ zhǐ zhīdào, tā měi tiān xiàwǔ dōu huì qù Fèngyí Tíng kàn huā… āi, wǒ shénme yě méi shuō.
All I know is she goes to Phoenix Pavilion to see the flowers every afternoon... Ah, I said nothing.
- Lu Bu 王大人，谢谢你告诉我。我要去看看。
Wáng dàren, xièxie nǐ gàosu wǒ. Wǒ yào qù kànkan.
Minister Wang, thank you for telling me. I'm going to see.
- Lu Bu 凤仪亭……我今天下午就去。
Fèngyí Tíng… wǒ jīntiān xiàwǔ jiù qù.
Phoenix Pavilion... I'll go this afternoon.
