After school Tom found Huck by the river. The sun was going down.
- Huck Finn 汤姆！你听说了吗？他们把老波特抓走了！
Tāngmǔ! Nǐ tīngshuō le ma? Tāmen bǎ Lǎo Bótè zhuāzǒu le!
Tom! Have you heard? They've taken Old Potter away!
- Tom Sawyer 我听说了。今天早上，他们带着他走过学校门口。
Wǒ tīngshuō le. Jīntiān zǎoshang, tāmen dàizhe tā zǒu guò xuéxiào ménkǒu.
I heard. This morning they led him right past the school gate.
- Huck Finn 他被关起来了，一直在哭，说他没有做错事。可是没有人相信他。

They locked him up, and he keeps crying. But nobody believes him.

Yesterday I visited him and he even thanked me. And I said nothing... I feel awful.

I feel awful too. Tom, let's not stay here anymore.

- Huck Finn 去做海盗！河中间有一个小岛，那里没有大人，也没有人住。

Become pirates! There's a little island in the middle of the river where nobody lives.

Pirates! Huck, you're a genius!
- Huck Finn 我还找到了一只木筏，就藏在那边的草里。

And I found a raft, hidden in the grass over there.

Hǎo! Wǒ dài yúxiàn, nǐ dài miànbāo hé huǒchái. Hái yào dài yí miàn hēi qí!
Deal! I'll bring fishing line, you bring bread and matches. And we need a black flag!
