Three radicals do most of the work
疒, the sickness radical, frames 病 in 生病, 疼 (téng, to hurt) and 疗 in 治疗, so a character wearing it is almost always about illness. 目, the eye, appears twice inside 眼睛, once in each half. And the 月 on the left of 腿 is not the moon but the flesh form, which is worth knowing before you meet 脸, 脚 and 胃 wearing the same component.
The emergency words are readable compounds
急诊 is urgent plus diagnosis, 救护车 is rescue, protect and vehicle, and 报警 is to report an alarm. The 护 in 救护车 is the same 护 as in 护照, a passport being the document that protects you as you travel. Practice the last five words in recall mode rather than tracing: under pressure you need to produce them, not copy them.
