Alone in Japan with no money, Passepartout joins a troupe of acrobats. Then he spots his master in the audience, mid-tumble.

A night in Yokohama, and the circus tent glowed with lamps. Passepartout, wearing a very long red nose, stood at the very top of a human tower.
- Passepartout 我没有钱，也没有鞋。一个人在日本，只好来当大鼻子……先生一定以为我丢了。
Wǒ méiyǒu qián, yě méiyǒu xié. Yí gè rén zài Rìběn, zhǐhǎo lái dāng dàbízi… Xiānsheng yídìng yǐwéi wǒ diū le.
I have no money and no shoes. All alone in Japan, I had to become a Long Nose... Sir must think I'm lost.
- Passepartout 我不表演，就没有船票钱。哎呀，这个人梯，怎么在摇？
Wǒ bù biǎoyǎn, jiù méiyǒu chuánpiào qián. Āiyā, zhège réntī, zěnme zài yáo?
If I don't perform, I have no money for a ticket. Oh no, why is this tower shaking?

Huh? That gentleman sitting in front... it's my master! Mr. Fogg!
- Passepartout 先生！先生！我在这儿！我在最上面！
Xiānsheng! Xiānsheng! Wǒ zài zhèr! Wǒ zài zuì shàngmiàn!
Sir! Sir! I'm here! I'm at the very top!
- Aouda 福格先生，你看！那个大鼻子在叫你！
Fúgé xiānsheng, nǐ kàn! Nàge dàbízi zài jiào nǐ!
Mr. Fogg, look! That Long Nose is calling you!
- Phileas Fogg 那是路路通。他好像一直在找我们。
Nà shì Lùlùtōng. Tā hǎoxiàng yìzhí zài zhǎo wǒmen.
That's Passepartout. It seems he's been looking for us all along.
- Passepartout 啊！对不起，对不起！先生，我来了！
A! Duìbuqǐ, duìbuqǐ! Xiānsheng, wǒ lái le!
Aaah! Sorry, sorry! Sir, here I come!
- Troupe Leader 路路通！表演还没有完，你的大鼻子就掉了！
Lùlùtōng! Biǎoyǎn hái méiyǒu wán, nǐ de dàbízi jiù diào le!
Passepartout! The show isn't over, and your long nose has fallen off!
- Phileas Fogg 路路通，你在这里做什么？大鼻子的工作，好像很难。
Lùlùtōng, nǐ zài zhèlǐ zuò shénme? Dàbízi de gōngzuò, hǎoxiàng hěn nán.
Passepartout, what are you doing here? The Long Nose job looks difficult.
- Passepartout 先生，对不起！我被人骗了，喝了很多酒，船就开走了！
Xiānsheng, duìbuqǐ! Wǒ bèi rén piàn le, hē le hěn duō jiǔ, chuán jiù kāizǒu le!
Sir, I'm sorry! I was tricked, I drank a lot of wine, and the ship sailed away!
- Aouda 路路通先生，你没有受伤吧？我们一直在找你。
Lùlùtōng xiānsheng, nǐ méiyǒu shòushāng ba? Wǒmen yìzhí zài zhǎo nǐ.
Mr. Passepartout, you aren't hurt, are you? We've been looking for you everywhere.
- Phileas Fogg 不用说对不起。明天早上，我们坐大船去旧金山。
Búyòng shuō duìbuqǐ. Míngtiān zǎoshang, wǒmen zuò dàchuán qù Jiùjīnshān.
No need to apologize. Tomorrow morning we take the big ship to San Francisco.
- Passepartout 谢谢您，先生！这一次，我一分钟也不会迟到！
Xièxie nín, xiānsheng! Zhè yí cì, wǒ yì fēnzhōng yě búhuì chídào!
Thank you, sir! This time I won't be a minute late!
- Narrator 大船在太平洋上走了很多天。路路通一个人坐在甲板上。
Dàchuán zài Tàipíngyáng shàng zǒu le hěn duō tiān. Lùlùtōng yí gè rén zuòzài jiǎbǎn shàng.
The big ship sailed for many days across the Pacific. Passepartout sat alone on the deck.
- Detective Fix 路路通，我们又见面了。你还好吗？
Lùlùtōng, wǒmen yòu jiànmiàn le. Nǐ háihǎo ma?
Passepartout, we meet again. Are you well?
- Passepartout 费克斯先生！在香港，你给我喝酒，我的船就没了！
Fèikèsī xiānsheng! Zài Xiānggǎng, nǐ gěi wǒ hē jiǔ, wǒ de chuán jiù méi le!
Mr. Fix! In Hong Kong you gave me wine, and I lost my ship!
- Detective Fix 对不起，路路通。我要对你说实话：我是侦探，一直在跟着你的主人。
Duìbuqǐ, Lùlùtōng. Wǒ yào duì nǐ shuōshíhuà: wǒ shì zhēntàn, yìzhí zài gēnzhe nǐ de zhǔrén.
I'm sorry, Passepartout. I have to tell you the truth: I'm a detective, and I've been following your master.
- Passepartout 你说什么？你为什么要跟着我的主人？
Nǐ shuō shénme? Nǐ wèishénme yào gēnzhe wǒ de zhǔrén?
What are you saying? Why would you follow my master?
- Detective Fix 英国银行的小偷，可能就是他。他有很多钱，走得很急。
Yīngguó yínháng de xiǎotōu, kěnéng jiùshì tā. Tā yǒu hěn duō qián, zǒu de hěn jí.
The bank thief may be him. He has a lot of money, and he travels in a hurry.
- Passepartout 福格先生是小偷？绝对不可能！他是我见过最好的人！
Fúgé xiānsheng shì xiǎotōu? Juéduì bù kěnéng! Tā shì wǒ jiàn guò zuìhǎo de rén!
Mr. Fogg, a thief? Absolutely impossible! He's the best man I've ever met!
- Detective Fix 也许。可是我现在改变主意了：我要帮你们快点回英国。到了英国，我们就知道了。
Yěxǔ. Kěshì wǒ xiànzài gǎibiàn zhǔyì le: wǒ yào bāng nǐmen kuàidiǎn huí Yīngguó. Dào le Yīngguó, wǒmen jiù zhīdào le.
Maybe. But I've changed my plan: I'll help you get back to England quickly. When we get there, we'll know.
- Passepartout 先生是好人。我不告诉他，免得他难过。我自己看着费克斯先生。
Xiānsheng shì hǎorén. Wǒ bú gàosu tā, miǎnde tā nánguò. Wǒ zìjǐ kànzhe Fèikèsī xiānsheng.
Sir is a good man. I won't tell him, so he won't be upset. I'll keep an eye on Mr. Fix myself.
- Narrator 又过了很多天，旧金山到了。
Yòu guò le hěn duō tiān, Jiùjīnshān dào le.
Many more days passed, and San Francisco came into view.
- Phileas Fogg 旧金山。我们没有晚。现在要坐火车去纽约。
Jiùjīnshān. Wǒmen méiyǒu wǎn. Xiànzài yào zuò huǒchē qù Niǔyuē.
San Francisco. We aren't late. Now we take the train to New York.
- Aouda 你们看，这里的房子好多，人也好多！
Nǐmen kàn, zhèlǐ de fángzi hǎoduō, rén yě hǎoduō!
Look, there are so many houses here, and so many people!
- Passepartout 太好了！又有路可以走了！先生，火车要几天？
Tài hǎo le! Yòu yǒu lù kěyǐ zǒu le! Xiānsheng, huǒchē yào jǐ tiān?
Great! There's road to travel again! Sir, how many days does the train take?
- Phileas Fogg 七天。七天以后，我们就到纽约了。
Qī tiān. Qī tiān yǐhòu, wǒmen jiù dào Niǔyuē le.
Seven days. In seven days we'll be in New York.
- Passepartout 七天？可是先生，我听说草原上有很多野牛，还有很多骑马的人！
Qī tiān? Kěshì xiānsheng, wǒ tīngshuō cǎoyuán shàng yǒu hěn duō yěniú, háiyǒu hěn duō qímǎ de rén!
Seven days? But sir, I've heard the prairie has lots of wild buffalo and lots of men on horses!
