Before dawn Passepartout risks everything on a daring trick to save a young woman. The travelers race to the coast with a new companion.

Yèshēn le. Sìmiào pángbiān de huǒ kuàiyào miè le, shǒuwèimen dōu shuìzháo le.
Night was deep. The fire by the temple was dying, and the guards were all asleep.
- Passepartout 先生，那间屋子里有灯。艾达夫人一定就在里面。
Xiānsheng, nà jiān wūzi lǐ yǒu dēng. Àidá fūrén yídìng jiù zài lǐmiàn.
Sir, there's a lamp in that room. Lady Aouda must be inside.
- Phileas Fogg 守卫有六个。我们不能打，也不能慢慢走过去。
Shǒuwèi yǒu liù gè. Wǒmen bùnéng dǎ, yě bùnéng mànmàn zǒu guòqù.
There are six guards. We can't fight them, and we can't slowly walk over.

Sir, tomorrow morning they'll walk her to the king's platform. That's when the crowd is largest.
- Passepartout 国王的床……人最多……对了！我有一个主意！
Guówáng de chuáng… Rén zuì duō… Duì le! Wǒ yǒu yí gè zhǔyì!
The king's platform... the biggest crowd... I've got it! I have an idea!
- Phileas Fogg 什么主意？请你说得小声一点儿。
Shénme zhǔyì? Qǐng nǐ shuō de xiǎoshēng yìdiǎnr.
What idea? Please speak more quietly.
- Passepartout 明天早上，我躲在那张床的布下面。等他们走到人最多的地方，我就站起来！
Míngtiān zǎoshang, wǒ duǒ zài nà zhāng chuáng de bù xiàmiàn. Děng tāmen zǒu dào rén zuì duō de dìfang, wǒ jiù zhàn qǐlái!
Tomorrow morning I'll hide under the cloth of that platform. When they reach the biggest crowd, I'll stand up!
- Phileas Fogg 站起来做什么？
Zhàn qǐlái zuò shénme?
Stand up to do what?
- Passepartout 吓他们一跳！他们会以为，国王又活过来了！
Xià tāmen yí tiào! Tāmen huì yǐwéi, guówáng yòu huóguòlái le!
To give them a fright! They'll think the king has come back to life!
- Phileas Fogg 这很危险。路路通，你不害怕吗？
Zhè hěn wēixiǎn. Lùlùtōng, nǐ bú hàipà ma?
It's dangerous. Passepartout, aren't you afraid?
- Passepartout 怕，先生！我怕得腿都软了！可是我去！
Pà, xiānsheng! Wǒ pà de tuǐ dōu ruǎn le! Kěshì wǒ qù!
I am, sir! I'm so scared my legs are like jelly! But I'll do it!
- Phileas Fogg 好。我们在河边等你。你要记住，国王是不会打喷嚏的。
Hǎo. Wǒmen zài hébiān děng nǐ. Nǐ yào jìzhù, guówáng shì búhuì dǎpēntì de.
Good. We'll wait by the river. And remember, a king never sneezes.
- Narrator 天亮了。人们抬着国王的床，慢慢地走向河边。
Tiānliàng le. Rénmen táizhe guówáng de chuáng, mànmàn de zǒuxiàng hébiān.
Dawn came. The people carried the king's platform slowly toward the river.
- Aouda 我不想去……谁来帮帮我……
Wǒ bùxiǎng qù… Shuí lái bāngbang wǒ…
I don't want to go... who will help me...
- Passepartout 停下！我是你们的国王！我又回来了！
Tíngxià! Wǒ shì nǐmen de guówáng! Wǒ yòu huílái le!
Stop! I am your king! I have come back!
- The Crowd 啊！国王活了！国王活了！快跑！
A! Guówáng huó le! Guówáng huó le! Kuài pǎo!
Ah! The king is alive! The king is alive! Run!
- Passepartout 快放开这位夫人！不然，我要生气了！
Kuài fàngkāi zhè wèi fūrén! Bùrán, wǒ yào shēngqì le!
Let this lady go at once! Or I will be angry!
- The Crowd 快跑！快跑！他生气了！
Kuài pǎo! Kuài pǎo! Tā shēngqì le!
Run! Run! He's angry!
- Passepartout 夫人，别怕！我是路路通，我来救您了！快跟我走！
Fūrén, biépà! Wǒ shì Lùlùtōng, wǒ lái jiù nín le! Kuài gēn wǒ zǒu!
Lady, don't be afraid! I'm Passepartout, and I've come to save you! Quick, come with me!
- Aouda 你……你不是国王？谢谢你，谢谢你们！
Nǐ… Nǐ búshì guówáng? Xièxie nǐ, xièxie nǐmen!
You... you're not the king? Thank you, thank you all!
- Passepartout 夫人，不用谢！我一辈子都没有这么怕过，也没有这么高兴过！
Fūrén, búyòng xiè! Wǒ yíbèizi dōu méiyǒu zhème pà guò, yě méiyǒu zhème gāoxìng guò!
No need to thank me, lady! I've never been so scared in my whole life, and never so happy either!
- Phileas Fogg 艾达夫人，请上大象。我们要快走了。
Àidá fūrén, qǐng shàng dàxiàng. Wǒmen yào kuài zǒu le.
Lady Aouda, please climb onto the elephant. We must go quickly.
- Aouda 福格先生，您为什么要帮我？您并不认识我。
Fúgé xiānsheng, nín wèishénme yào bāng wǒ? Nín bìng bú rènshi wǒ.
Mr. Fogg, why are you helping me? You don't even know me.
- Phileas Fogg 一个人有难，就应该有人帮她。这不需要理由。
Yí gè rén yǒu nàn, jiù yīnggāi yǒu rén bāng tā. Zhè bù xūyào lǐyóu.
When a person is in trouble, someone should help her. That needs no reason.
- Narrator 几天以后，他们到了加尔各答的码头，要坐船去香港。
Jǐ tiān yǐhòu, tāmen dào le Jiā'ěrgèdá de mǎtóu, yào zuò chuán qù Xiānggǎng.
A few days later they reached the docks of Calcutta, to take a ship to Hong Kong.
- Aouda 福格先生，我在香港有一个亲戚。我可以去找他吗？
Fúgé xiānsheng, wǒ zài Xiānggǎng yǒu yí gè qīnqī. Wǒ kěyǐ qù zhǎo tā ma?
Mr. Fogg, I have a relative in Hong Kong. May I go and find him?
- Phileas Fogg 当然可以。你和我们一起走。路路通，去买船票。
Dāngrán kěyǐ. Nǐ hé wǒmen yìqǐ zǒu. Lùlùtōng, qù mǎi chuánpiào.
Of course. You'll travel with us. Passepartout, go and buy the tickets.
- Passepartout 太好了！先生，我们现在有三个人了！
Tài hǎo le! Xiānsheng, wǒmen xiànzài yǒu sān gè rén le!
Wonderful! Sir, there are three of us now!
- Aouda 路路通先生，我要谢谢你。你今天真勇敢。
Lùlùtōng xiānsheng, wǒ yào xièxie nǐ. Nǐ jīntiān zhēn yǒnggǎn.
Mr. Passepartout, I must thank you. You were so brave.
- Passepartout 哪里哪里！我的腿软了三次，只是我没说。
Nǎlǐ nǎlǐ! Wǒ de tuǐ ruǎn le sān cì, zhǐshì wǒ méi shuō.
Not at all! My legs went soft three times, I just didn't say so.
- Passepartout 咦，那不是费克斯先生吗？他也来加尔各答了！
Yí, nà búshì Fèikèsī xiānsheng ma? Tā yě lái Jiā'ěrgèdá le!
Hey, isn't that Mr. Fix? He's come to Calcutta too!
- Aouda 我不知道为什么……可是他看福格先生的眼睛，好像在找一个坏人。
Wǒ bù zhīdào wèishénme… Kěshì tā kàn Fúgé xiānsheng de yǎnjing, hǎoxiàng zài zhǎo yí gè huàirén.
I don't know why... but the way he looks at Mr. Fogg, it's as if he's searching for a bad man.
