Beauty hurries back to the palace, but when nine o'clock comes, the Beast does not. Her dream was true, and now only her answer can save him.

Wǒ bù néng zài ràng tā nánguò le. Jièzhi ne? Wǒ xiànzài jiù huíqù!
I won't make him sad any longer. Where's the ring? I'm going back right now!
- Narrator 美儿把戒指放在桌子上。第二天早上，她在宫殿里醒来了。
Měi'ér bǎ jièzhi fàng zài zhuōzi shang. Dì èr tiān zǎoshang, tā zài gōngdiàn lǐ xǐnglái le.
Beauty put the ring on the table. The next morning, she woke up in the palace.
- Beauty 我回来了！今天晚上九点，我要穿上最漂亮的裙子等他！
Wǒ huílái le! Jīntiān wǎnshang jiǔ diǎn, wǒ yào chuān shàng zuì piàoliang de qúnzi děng tā!
I'm back! Tonight at nine, I'll wear my most beautiful dress and wait for him!

Yěshòu? Yěshòu, nǐ zài nǎr? Shì wǒ, Měi'ér huílái le!
Beast? Beast, where are you? It's me! Beauty is back!
- Beauty 我的梦……花园里的水边！
Wǒ de mèng… huāyuán lǐ de shuǐ biān!
My dream… by the water in the garden!
- Narrator 花园的水边，野兽躺在草地上，一动也不动。
Huāyuán de shuǐ biān, Yěshòu tǎng zài cǎodì shang, yí dòng yě bú dòng.
By the water in the garden, the Beast lay on the grass, perfectly still.
- Beauty 野兽！野兽！你醒醒，你看看我！
Yěshòu! Yěshòu! Nǐ xǐngxing, nǐ kànkan wǒ!
Beast! Beast! Wake up! Look at me!
- Narrator 美儿用水洗了洗他的脸。野兽慢慢地醒了过来。
Měi'ér yòng shuǐ xǐ le xǐ tā de liǎn. Yěshòu mànmàn de xǐng le guòlái.
Beauty bathed his face with water, and slowly the Beast came to.
- The Beast 美儿……你忘了你的话。我不想吃饭，也不想喝水了……
Měi'ér… nǐ wàng le nǐ de huà. Wǒ bù xiǎng chīfàn, yě bù xiǎng hē shuǐ le…
Beauty… you forgot your promise. I didn't want to eat anymore, or even drink…
- The Beast 可是现在，我又看见你了。我可以放心地走了……

Wǒ yǐwéi wǒ zhǐ shì nǐ de péngyou. Xiànzài wǒ zhīdào le, méiyǒu nǐ, wǒ huó bú xiàqù.
I thought I was only your friend. Now I know: I can't live without you.
- Beauty 野兽，你听好了：我愿意嫁给你！
Yěshòu, nǐ tīng hǎo le: wǒ yuànyì jià gěi nǐ!
Beast, listen to me: yes, I will marry you!
- Narrator 她刚说完，整个宫殿都亮了。天上开满了烟花，到处都是音乐。
Tā gāng shuō wán, zhěnggè gōngdiàn dōu liàng le. Tiānshàng kāi mǎn le yānhuā, dàochù dōu shì yīnyuè.
The moment she said it, the whole palace lit up. Fireworks bloomed across the sky, and music was everywhere.
- Beauty 野兽？……野兽呢？你是谁？
Yěshòu?… Yěshòu ne? Nǐ shì shéi?
Beast?… Where's the Beast? Who are you?
- The Prince 美儿，是我啊。
Měi'ér, shì wǒ a.
Beauty, it's me.
- Beauty 我不认识你！我要我的野兽！
Wǒ bú rènshi nǐ! Wǒ yào wǒ de Yěshòu!
I don't know you! I want my Beast!

- The Prince 很久以前，我是一个王子。一个坏仙女把我变成了野兽。
Hěn jiǔ yǐqián, wǒ shì yí gè wángzǐ. Yí gè huài xiānnǚ bǎ wǒ biànchéng le yěshòu.
Long ago, I was a prince. A wicked fairy turned me into a beast.
- The Prince 要有一个好女孩愿意嫁给我，我才能变回来。
Yào yǒu yí gè hǎo nǚhái yuànyì jià gěi wǒ, wǒ cái néng biàn huílái.
Only when a good girl agreed to marry me could I change back.
- The Prince 她还说，我不能让别人知道，我其实很聪明。
Tā hái shuō, wǒ bù néng ràng biérén zhīdào, wǒ qíshí hěn cōngming.
And she said I must never let anyone see that I'm actually rather clever.
- Beauty 所以你天天说你笨！
Suǒyǐ nǐ tiāntiān shuō nǐ bèn!
So that's why you always said you were stupid!
- Narrator 这时，一个好仙女带来了美儿的爸爸和两个姐姐。
Zhèshí, yí gè hǎo xiānnǚ dài lái le Měi'ér de bàba hé liǎng gè jiějie.

Měi'ér, nǐ méiyǒu xuǎn hǎokàn de liǎn, yě méiyǒu xuǎn huì shuōhuà de zuǐ, nǐ xuǎn le yì kē hǎo xīn.
Beauty, you didn't choose a handsome face or a clever tongue. You chose a good heart.
- The Good Fairy 你们两个，心太坏了。去宫殿门口做石头人吧！知道自己错了，再变回来。
Nǐmen liǎng gè, xīn tài huài le. Qù gōngdiàn ménkǒu zuò shítou rén ba! Zhīdào zìjǐ cuò le, zài biàn huílái.
As for you two, your hearts are far too wicked. Go and stand at the palace gate as statues of stone! When you see your own faults, you may change back.
- Narrator 王子和美儿结婚了。他们都有一颗好心，所以一直很快乐。爸爸呢，又天天笑了。
Wángzǐ hé Měi'ér jiéhūn le. Tāmen dōu yǒu yì kē hǎo xīn, suǒyǐ yìzhí hěn kuàilè. Bàba ne, yòu tiāntiān xiào le.
The prince and Beauty were married. They both had good hearts, so they were happy all their lives. And Father laughed again, every single day.
- The Prince 美儿，花园里的玫瑰花，以后都是你的了。
Měi'ér, huāyuán lǐ de méiguihuā, yǐhòu dōu shì nǐ de le.
Beauty, every rose in this garden is yours now.
- Beauty 我只要一朵，就够了。
Wǒ zhǐ yào yì duǒ, jiù gòu le.
