Mina finds Lucy sleepwalking with two tiny marks on her neck. Professor Van Helsing arrives with garlic and a terrible truth: someone in the shadows will look for Mina next.

My neck hurts a little, as if a pin pricked it.

Let me see. There are two tiny red spots here... It must be the pin of your shawl.
- Lucy 也许吧。米娜，别告诉别人。妈妈会担心的。
Yěxǔ ba. Mǐnà, bié gàosu biérén. Māma huì dānxīn de.
Maybe. Mina, don't tell anyone. Mother will worry.
- Mina 好，这是我们两个人的秘密。你梦游的事，我不会说。来，我扶着你。
Hǎo, zhè shì wǒmen liǎng gè rén de mìmì. Nǐ mèngyóu de shì, wǒ bú huì shuō. Lái, wǒ fú zhe nǐ.
All right, it's our secret. I won't tell anyone that you walked in your sleep. Come, I'll hold you up.
- Lucy 我好累……我的腿一点儿力气也没有。
Wǒ hǎo lèi… wǒ de tuǐ yìdiǎnr lìqi yě méiyǒu.
I'm so tired... my legs have no strength at all.
- Mina 慢一点，露西。有我在。我们一步一步走。
Màn yìdiǎn, Lùxī. Yǒu wǒ zài. Wǒmen yí bù yí bù zǒu.
Slowly, Lucy. I'm here. We'll go step by step.
- Narrator 后来，露西回了伦敦。她一天比一天白，一天比一天弱，医生也找不到原因。
Hòulái, Lùxī huí le Lúndūn. Tā yì tiān bǐ yì tiān bái, yì tiān bǐ yì tiān ruò, yīshēng yě zhǎo bú dào yuányīn.
Later, Lucy went back to London. She grew paler and weaker every day, and the doctors could not find the reason.
- Lucy 西沃德医生，我不疼，我只是好累。你们为什么这么紧张？
Xīwòdé yīshēng, wǒ bù téng, wǒ zhǐshì hǎo lèi. Nǐmen wèishénme zhème jǐnzhāng?
Dr. Seward, it doesn't hurt. I'm just so tired. Why are you all so worried?

Lùxī xiǎojie, wǒ shì yīshēng, kěshì wǒ bù zhīdào nǐ zěnme le. Nǐ de liǎn yì tiān bǐ yì tiān bái. Suǒyǐ wǒ qǐng wǒ de lǎoshī lái le.
Miss Lucy, I'm a doctor, but I don't know what's wrong with you. Your face grows whiter every day. So I've asked my old teacher to come.
- Professor Van Helsing 你好，孩子。我是范海辛教授。让我看看……哦，你的脸色真白。
Nǐhǎo, háizi. Wǒ shì Fàn Hǎixīn jiàoshòu. Ràng wǒ kànkan… ó, nǐ de liǎnsè zhēn bái.
Hello, child. I am Professor Van Helsing. Let me see... oh, your face is so white.
- Professor Van Helsing 西沃德，这不是普通的病。去拿大蒜花来，越多越好。
Xīwòdé, zhè bú shì pǔtōng de bìng. Qù ná dàsuànhuā lái, yuè duō yuè hǎo.
Seward, this is no ordinary illness. Go and get garlic flowers, as many as you can.
- Dr. Seward 大蒜花？教授，您是认真的吗？
Dàsuànhuā? Jiàoshòu, nín shì rènzhēn de ma?
Garlic flowers? Professor, are you serious?
- Professor Van Helsing 我从来不开这种玩笑，我的朋友。窗户上要挂，床的四周也要挂。
Wǒ cónglái bù kāi zhèzhǒng wánxiào, wǒ de péngyou. Chuānghu shàng yào guà, chuáng de sìzhōu yě yào guà.
I never joke about this, my friend. Hang them on the window, and all around the bed.
- Lucy 哎呀，好臭！教授，这是治病，还是煮汤？
Āiyā, hǎo chòu! Jiàoshòu, zhè shì zhìbìng, háishi zhǔtāng?
Oh, it smells terrible! Professor, is this a cure, or are you making soup?
- Professor Van Helsing 哈哈，又臭又有用！晚上一定不能拿走，也不能开窗户。记住了吗？
Hāhā, yòu chòu yòu yǒu yòng! Wǎnshang yídìng bù néng názǒu, yě bù néng kāi chuānghu. Jìzhù le ma?
Ha, smelly and useful! At night you must never take them away, and never open the window. Remember?
- Lucy 好，我记住了。我听教授的。
Hǎo, wǒ jìzhù le. Wǒ tīng jiàoshòu de.
Yes, I'll remember. I'll do as the professor says.
- Dr. Seward 教授！露西的妈妈说花太臭，把它们都拿走了，还开了窗户！
Jiàoshòu! Lùxī de māma shuō huā tài chòu, bǎ tāmen dōu názǒu le, hái kāi le chuānghu!
Professor! Lucy's mother said the flowers smelled too much and took them all away, and she opened the window!
- Professor Van Helsing 什么？快，我们马上去她的房间！
Shénme? Kuài, wǒmen mǎshàng qù tā de fángjiān!
What? Quick, we must go to her room at once!
- Narrator 可是已经太晚了。那天夜里，露西安安静静地离开了这个世界。
Kěshì yǐjīng tài wǎn le. Nà tiān yè lǐ, Lùxī ān'ānjìngjìng dì líkāi le zhège shìjiè.
But it was already too late. That night, Lucy quietly left this world.
- Arthur 教授，西沃德，请你们告诉我，露西为什么会死？她那么年轻，前几天还在笑！
Jiàoshòu, Xīwòdé, qǐng nǐmen gàosu wǒ, Lùxī wèishénme huì sǐ? Tā nàme niánqīng, qián jǐ tiān hái zài xiào!
Professor, Seward, please tell me why Lucy died. She was so young, and only days ago she was laughing!
- Dr. Seward 亚瑟，我是医生，可是我找不到答案。对不起。
Yàsè, wǒ shì yīshēng, kěshì wǒ zhǎo bú dào dá'àn. Duìbùqǐ.
Arthur, I'm a doctor, but I can't find the answer. I'm sorry.
- Professor Van Helsing 我知道答案，可是你们可能不会相信。这个答案很老，也很可怕。
Wǒ zhīdào dá'àn, kěshì nǐmen kěnéng bú huì xiāngxìn. Zhège dá'àn hěn lǎo, yě hěn kěpà.
I know the answer, but you may not believe it. It is an old answer, and a frightening one.
- Arthur 我什么都愿意听。只要能知道真相。

I'll listen to anything, if only I can know the truth.
- Professor Van Helsing 是吸血鬼。它夜里才出来，白天睡在泥土里。它怕大蒜，也怕十字架。
Shì xīxuèguǐ. Tā yèlǐ cái chūlái, báitiān shuì zài nítǔ lǐ. Tā pà dàsuàn, yě pà shízìjià.
It is a vampire. It comes out only at night and sleeps in earth by day. It fears garlic, and it fears the cross.
- Dr. Seward 吸血鬼？教授，这不是老人们讲的故事吗？
Xīxuèguǐ? Jiàoshòu, zhè bú shì lǎorén men jiǎng de gùshi ma?
A vampire? Professor, isn't that just an old folk tale?
- Professor Van Helsing 我也希望是。可是露西脖子上的两个小红点，我见过。
Wǒ yě xīwàng shì. Kěshì Lùxī bózi shàng de liǎng gè xiǎo hóngdiǎn, wǒ jiàn guò.
I wish it were. But I have seen those two little red spots on Lucy's neck before.
- Arthur 那我们能做什么？我不能让它再伤害别人！
Nà wǒmen néng zuò shénme? Wǒ bù néng ràng tā zài shānghài biérén!
Then what can we do? I can't let it hurt anyone else!
- Professor Van Helsing 找到它。可是我们要快，因为它下一个会去找露西最好的朋友。
Zhǎodào tā. Kěshì wǒmen yào kuài, yīnwèi tā xià yí gè huì qù zhǎo Lùxī zuì hǎo de péngyou.
We find it. But we must be quick, because the next one it seeks is Lucy's best friend.
- Arthur 米娜！我们必须马上去找她！
Mǐnà! Wǒmen bìxū mǎshàng qù zhǎo tā!
Mina! We must go to her at once!
