夜里的门
In grand, gray Frankfurt, Heidi makes friends with Clara but misses her mountain. Now a ghost is walking the house at night, and the front door keeps opening.

- Clara 没关系，罗特小姐。海蒂，我的腿不好，不能走路。
Méiguānxi, Luótè xiǎojie. Hǎidì, wǒ de tuǐ bù hǎo, bù néng zǒulù.
It's all right, Miss Rottenmeier. Heidi, my legs are weak. I can't walk.
- Heidi 对不起。那我来推你，好吗？
Duìbùqǐ. Nà wǒ lái tuī nǐ, hǎo ma?
I'm sorry. Then I'll push you, all right?
- Clara 好啊！我有朋友了！
Hǎo a! Wǒ yǒu péngyou le!
Yes! I have a friend now!
- Miss Rottenmeier 吃饭了。今天有白面包。
Chīfàn le. Jīntiān yǒu bái miànbāo.
Time to eat. There is white bread today.
- Heidi 我可以拿几个吗？我想给山上的奶奶。
Wǒ kěyǐ ná jǐ gè ma? Wǒ xiǎng gěi shānshàng de nǎinai.
May I take a few? I want to give them to the old grandmother on the mountain.
- Clara 拿吧！我们有很多！
Ná ba! Wǒmen yǒu hěn duō!
Take them! We have plenty!
- Miss Rottenmeier 不行！面包不能放在房间里！
Bù xíng! Miànbāo bù néng fàng zài fángjiān lǐ!
No! Bread does not belong in the bedroom!
- Clara 海蒂，你怎么不睡？你在哭吗？
Hǎidì, nǐ zěnme bú shuì? Nǐ zài kū ma?
Heidi, why aren't you sleeping? Are you crying?
- Heidi 我想爷爷……我想山羊，想花，想彼得……
Wǒ xiǎng yéye… Wǒ xiǎng shānyáng, xiǎng huā, xiǎng Bǐdé…
I miss Grandfather... I miss the goats, the flowers, Peter...
- Clara 你想家了。
Nǐ xiǎng jiā le.
You miss home.
- Heidi 这里的窗外没有山，没有星星，只有房子。
Zhèlǐ de chuāng wài méiyǒu shān, méiyǒu xīngxing, zhǐyǒu fángzi.
Outside this window there are no mountains, no stars, only houses.
- Clara 明天我给你看书。书里有山。
Míngtiān wǒ gěi nǐ kàn shū. Shū lǐ yǒu shān.
Tomorrow I'll show you a book. It has mountains in it.
- Heidi 谢谢。可是书里的山，不是我的山。
Xièxie. Kěshì shū lǐ de shān, bú shì wǒ de shān.
Thank you. But the mountains in a book aren't my mountains.
- Clara ……我知道。睡吧，海蒂。
… Wǒ zhīdào. Shuì ba, Hǎidì.
...I know. Go to sleep, Heidi.
- Miss Rottenmeier 克拉拉！这几天，早上前门都开着！
Kèlālā! Zhè jǐ tiān, zǎoshang qián mén dōu kāi zhe!
Clara! For days now the front door has been open in the morning!
- Miss Rottenmeier 昨天晚上，还有人看见一个白色的东西！
Zuótiān wǎnshang, háiyǒu rén kànjiàn yí gè báisè de dōngxi!
And last night someone saw something white!
- Clara 白色的东西？是什么？
Báisè de dōngxi? Shì shénme?
Something white? What was it?
- Miss Rottenmeier 是鬼！
Shì guǐ!
A ghost!
- Clara 鬼？哈哈，我不怕。海蒂，你怕吗？
Guǐ? Hāhā, wǒ bú pà. Hǎidì, nǐ pà ma?
A ghost? Ha ha, I'm not afraid. Heidi, are you?
- Heidi 我……我今天好累。我的脚也好疼。
Wǒ… Wǒ jīntiān hǎo lèi. Wǒ de jiǎo yě hǎo téng.
I... I'm so tired today. And my feet hurt.
- Clara 海蒂，你的脸好白啊。
Hǎidì, nǐ de liǎn hǎo bái a.
Heidi, your face is so pale.
- Miss Rottenmeier 今天晚上，我请医生来。我们一起等那个鬼！
Jīntiān wǎnshang, wǒ qǐng yīshēng lái. Wǒmen yìqǐ děng nàge guǐ!
Tonight I will ask the doctor to come. We'll wait for that ghost together!
