Jack ran as fast as he could with the golden harp, and the giant came thundering after him.
- The Giant 小孩小孩，你别跑！我要吃了你！

Little child, little child, don't you run! I'm going to eat you up!

- Jack 巨人也往下爬了！妈妈！妈妈！快拿爸爸的斧子来！

The giant's coming down too! Mother! Mother! Quick, bring Father's axe!
- Jack's Mother 斧子？来了！……我的天啊！巨人！
Fǔzi? Lái le! … Wǒ de tiān a! Jùrén!
The axe? Coming! … Oh my heavens! A giant!
- Jack 放心吧，妈妈！一、二、三，砍！砍！砍！
Fàngxīn ba, māma! Yī, èr, sān, kǎn! Kǎn! Kǎn!
Don't worry, Mother! One, two, three, chop! Chop! Chop!
- The Giant 喂！别砍！别砍！
Wèi! Bié kǎn! Bié kǎn!

Módòu dǎo le. Jùrén dà jiàozhe, wǎng xià diào.
The beanstalk came crashing down, and the giant tumbled after it, bellowing.
- The Giant 啊啊啊！

Aaaah!
- Narrator 巨人掉进了房子后边的小湖里。水飞起来，比房子还高。
Jùrén diào jìn le fángzi hòubian de xiǎo hú lǐ. Shuǐ fēi qǐlái, bǐ fángzi hái gāo.
He landed in the pond behind the cottage, and the water splashed up higher than the roof.
- Jack's Mother 我的天啊！巨人……在我们的湖里！
Wǒ de tiān a! Jùrén… zài wǒmen de hú lǐ!
Oh my heavens! There's a giant… in our pond!
- The Giant 好冷！好冷！我的头上……是什么？一条鱼？！
Hǎo lěng! Hǎo lěng! Wǒ de tóu shang… shì shénme? Yì tiáo yú?!
So cold! So cold! What's this on my head… a fish?!
- Jack 巨人，你还想吃小孩吗？
Jùrén, nǐ hái xiǎng chī xiǎohái ma?
Well, giant? Still hungry for children?
- The Giant 不想了！不想了！下边的人太可怕了！老婆！我要回家！
Bù xiǎng le! Bù xiǎng le! Xiàbian de rén tài kěpà le! Lǎopo! Wǒ yào huí jiā!
No! Not anymore! The people down here are terrifying! Wife! I want to go home!
- Narrator 巨人跑过了大山。以后，没有人再看见他。
Jùrén pǎo guò le dà shān. Yǐhòu, méiyǒu rén zài kànjiàn tā.
The giant ran off over the hills, and no one ever saw him again.
- Jack's Mother 杰克，对不起。那天，妈妈不应该丢你的魔豆。
Jiékè, duìbuqǐ. Nà tiān, māma bù yīnggāi diū nǐ de módòu.
Jack, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have thrown your magic beans away that day.
- Jack 没关系！妈妈，你丢得真好！
Méi guānxi! Māma, nǐ diū de zhēn hǎo!
That's all right! You threw them in just the right place!
- The Golden Harp 主人走了……那，我给你们唱歌吧！
Zhǔrén zǒu le… nà, wǒ gěi nǐmen chànggē ba!
My master's gone… Well then, I'll sing for you!
- The Hen 咯咯哒！
Gēgēdā!
Cluck-cluck-cluck!
- Jack's Mother 我们有金蛋，有好听的歌……最好的，是还有你！
Wǒmen yǒu jīndàn, yǒu hǎotīng de gē… zuì hǎo de, shì hái yǒu nǐ!
We have golden eggs and lovely songs… and best of all, we still have you!
- Jack 妈妈，我们去买回小白吧！小白也是我们家的！
Māma, wǒmen qù mǎi huí Xiǎobái ba! Xiǎobái yě shì wǒmen jiā de!
Mother, let's go and buy Milky-white back! She's part of our family too!
- Narrator 从那以后，杰克和妈妈天天都很高兴。
