At Thunder Monastery the Buddha names the fake. Then Wukong must face his master and find out whether he is still welcome on the road.

Wùkōng, nǐmen lái le. Wǒ zǎojiù zhīdào, nǐmen wèishénme yào dào Léiyīn Sì lái.
Wukong, you have come. I have long known why you would come to Thunder Monastery.
- Sun Wukong 佛祖！请你分一分，我们两个，谁是真的悟空？
Fózǔ! Qǐng nǐ fēn yi fēn, wǒmen liǎng gè, shuí shì zhēn de Wùkōng?
Buddha! Please tell us apart. Of the two of us, who is the real Wukong?
- The Fake Wukong 佛祖！我才是真的悟空！他是妖怪，他在装成我！
Fózǔ! Wǒ cái shì zhēn de Wùkōng! Tā shì yāoguai, tā zài zhuāng chéng wǒ!
Buddha! I am the real Wukong! He is a demon, he is pretending to be me!

- The Buddha 你们别急。世上有一种猴子，叫六耳猕猴。
Nǐmen bié jí. Shìshàng yǒu yì zhǒng hóuzi, jiào liù'ěr míhóu.
Do not be hasty. There is a kind of monkey in the world called the six-eared macaque.
- The Buddha 六耳猕猴有六只耳朵，能听到很远很远的声音，还会变成别人的样子，连朋友也分不出来。
Liù'ěr míhóu yǒu liù zhǐ ěrduǒ, néng tīngdào hěn yuǎn hěn yuǎn de shēngyīn, hái huì biànchéng biérén de yàngzi, lián péngyou yě fēn bu chūlái.
The six-eared macaque has six ears, hears sounds from very far away, and can become anyone's twin, so even friends cannot tell.
- The Buddha 那一只猴子，现在就在你们两个里面。
Nà yì zhī hóuzi, xiànzài jiù zài nǐmen liǎng gè lǐmiàn.
That monkey is one of the two of you, right here.
- The Fake Wukong 佛祖，你在说什么？我听不懂！
Fózǔ, nǐ zài shuō shénme? Wǒ tīng bu dǒng!
Buddha, what are you saying? I don't understand!
- Sun Wukong 六只耳朵？老孙只有两只！你看！
Liù zhǐ ěrduǒ? Lǎo Sūn zhǐyǒu liǎng zhǐ! Nǐ kàn!
Six ears? Old Sun has only two! Look!
- The Buddha 我看得很清楚。六耳猕猴，你听了这么久，还想继续装下去吗？
Wǒ kàn de hěn qīngchǔ. Liù'ěr míhóu, nǐ tīng le zhème jiǔ, hái xiǎng jìxù zhuāng xiàqù ma?
I see clearly. Six-eared macaque, having listened this long, do you still want to keep pretending?
- The Fake Wukong 不好！被发现了！我要跑！
Bùhǎo! Bèi fāxiàn le! Wǒ yào pǎo!
Oh no! I've been found out! I must run!
- Narrator 假悟空变成一只小蜜蜂，往高高的天上飞去。
Jiǎ Wùkōng biànchéng yì zhī xiǎo mìfēng, wǎng gāogāo de tiānshàng fēi qù.
The fake Wukong turned into a tiny bee and shot up into the high sky.
- The Buddha 你跑不了。我的金钵，比你的翅膀更快。
Nǐ pǎo bu liǎo. Wǒ de jīn bō, bǐ nǐ de chìbǎng gèng kuài.
You cannot run. My golden bowl is faster than your wings.
- Narrator 佛祖把金钵放下来，小蜜蜂一下子被盖在了下面，再也飞不出来了。
Fózǔ bǎ jīn bō fàng xiàlái, xiǎo mìfēng yíxiàzi bèi gài zài le xiàmiàn, zàiyě fēi bu chūlái le.
The Buddha set down his golden bowl, and the little bee was trapped beneath it and could fly no more.
- Sun Wukong 老孙来了！
Lǎo Sūn lái le!
Here comes Old Sun!
- Narrator 悟空一棒打下去，假悟空不动了。
Wùkōng yí bàng dǎ xiàqù, jiǎ Wùkōng bú dòng le.
Wukong brought his staff down once, and the fake Wukong moved no more.
- Sun Wukong 佛祖，谢谢你。老孙终于可以对师父说：我没有做坏事！
Fózǔ, xièxiè nǐ. Lǎo Sūn zhōngyú kěyǐ duì shīfu shuō: wǒ méiyǒu zuò huàishì!
Buddha, thank you. Old Sun can finally tell Master: I did nothing wrong!
- The Buddha 悟空，回去吧。金钵里的事，交给我。你的师父，还在等你。
Wùkōng, huíqù ba. Jīn bō lǐ de shì, jiāogěi wǒ. Nǐ de shīfu, hái zài děng nǐ.
Wukong, go back. What is under the bowl, leave to me. Your master is still waiting for you.
- Zhu Bajie 师父，你看！天上有个猴子飞下来了！这一次，到底是真的还是假的？
Shīfu, nǐ kàn! Tiānshàng yǒu gè hóuzi fēi xiàlái le! Zhè yí cì, dàodǐ shì zhēn de háishì jiǎ de?
Master, look! A monkey is flying down from the sky! This time, is it real or fake?
- Sun Wukong 八戒，你说呢？老孙是真的，只是有点累。
Bājiè, nǐ shuō ne? Lǎo Sūn shì zhēn de, zhǐshì yǒudiǎn lèi.
Bajie, what do you think? Old Sun is real, just a little tired.
- Zhu Bajie 我要考考你。你说，我最爱吃什么？
Wǒ yào kǎokao nǐ. Nǐ shuō, wǒ zuì ài chī shénme?
I'll test you. Tell me, what do I love to eat most?
- Sun Wukong 你最爱吃什么？所有能吃的东西！
Nǐ zuì ài chī shénme? Suǒyǒu néng chī de dōngxi!
What do you love most? Everything you can eat!
- Zhu Bajie 是真的！师父，是真的大师兄！
Shì zhēn de! Shīfu, shì zhēn de dàshīxiong!
It's real! Master, it's the real Big Brother!
- Sun Wukong 师父！老孙回来了。
Shīfu! Lǎo Sūn huílái le.
Master! Old Sun is back.
- Tang Seng 悟空……是我不好。我错怪了你，还赶你走。你还愿意回来吗？
Wùkōng… shì wǒ bùhǎo. Wǒ cuòguài le nǐ, hái gǎn nǐ zǒu. Nǐ hái yuànyì huílái ma?
Wukong... it was my fault. I blamed you wrongly and sent you away. Will you still come back?
- Sun Wukong 只要师父不再赶我，老孙哪儿也不去！
Zhǐyào shīfu bú zài gǎn wǒ, Lǎo Sūn nǎr yě bú qù!
As long as Master doesn't send me away again, Old Sun won't go anywhere!
- Tang Seng 我不会再赶你了。可是，你以后不要再随便打人，好吗？
Wǒ búhuì zài gǎn nǐ le. Kěshì, nǐ yǐhòu búyào zài suíbiàn dǎ rén, hǎo ma?
I will never send you away again. But from now on, don't strike people so easily, all right?
- Sun Wukong 好！老孙答应你。对了，师父，你的包袱，老孙从花果山拿回来了。
Hǎo! Lǎo Sūn dāying nǐ. Duì le, shīfu, nǐ de bāofu, Lǎo Sūn cóng Huāguǒ Shān ná huílái le.
Good! Old Sun promises. Oh, Master, here is your bundle. Old Sun brought it back from Flower Fruit Mountain.
- Zhu Bajie 大师兄，花果山的桃子，有没有给我留几个？
Dàshīxiong, Huāguǒ Shān de táozi, yǒu méiyǒu gěi wǒ liú jǐ gè?
Big Brother, did you save me a few peaches from Flower Fruit Mountain?
- Sun Wukong 有！不过，先要走路！
Yǒu! Búguò, xiān yào zǒulù!
Yes! But first, we walk!
- Tang Seng 哈哈，好。我们走吧。悟净，快把马牵过来！
Hāhā, hǎo. Wǒmen zǒu ba. Wùjìng, kuài bǎ mǎ qiān guòlái!
Ha ha, all right. Let's go. Wujing, bring the horse over!
- Sun Wukong 走吧，师父！西天还很远。前面那座山，好像有点不对……老孙先去看看！
Zǒu ba, shīfu! Xītiān hái hěn yuǎn. Qiánmiàn nà zuò shān, hǎoxiàng yǒudiǎn bú duì… Lǎo Sūn xiān qù kànkan!
Let's go, Master! The West is still far. That mountain ahead feels a little wrong... Old Sun will go and look!
