The prince climbed into the tower. Rapunzel was afraid.
- Rapunzel 啊！你不是妈妈！你是谁？你怎么进来了？
Ā! Nǐ bú shì māma! Nǐ shì shéi? Nǐ zěnme jìnlái le?
Ah! You are not Mama! Who are you? How did you get in?
- The Prince 别怕，我是王子。我听见你唱歌了。
Bié pà, wǒ shì wángzǐ. Wǒ tīngjiàn nǐ chànggē le.
Don't be afraid, I'm a prince. I heard you singing.

- Rapunzel 你是第一个听我唱歌的人。
Nǐ shì dì yī gè tīng wǒ chànggē de rén.
You are the first person to hear me sing.
- Rapunzel 外边是什么样的？你能告诉我吗？
Wàibiān shì shénme yàng de? Nǐ néng gàosu wǒ ma?
What is outside like? Can you tell me?
- The Prince 外边有山，有花，有很多人。
Wàibiān yǒu shān, yǒu huā, yǒu hěn duō rén.
Outside there are mountains, flowers, and many people.
- Rapunzel 太好了！我想看山，也想看花！
Tài hǎo le! Wǒ xiǎng kàn shān, yě xiǎng kàn huā!
Wonderful! I want to see the mountains and the flowers!
- The Prince 长发，你想和我结婚吗？
Chángfà, nǐ xiǎng hé wǒ jiéhūn ma?
Rapunzel, would you like to marry me?
- Rapunzel 好！我们结婚！我想和你走！
Hǎo! Wǒmen jiéhūn! Wǒ xiǎng hé nǐ zǒu!
Yes! Let's get married! I want to go with you!
- The Prince 可是塔没有门。我们怎么走？
Kěshì tǎ méiyǒu mén. Wǒmen zěnme zǒu?
But the tower has no door. How do we leave?
- Rapunzel 你带绳子来。要很长很长的绳子。
Nǐ dài shéngzi lái. Yào hěn cháng hěn cháng de shéngzi.
Bring a rope. A very, very long rope.
- The Prince 好！明天我带绳子来。
Hǎo! Míngtiān wǒ dài shéngzi lái.
Good! Tomorrow I'll bring a rope.
- Rapunzel 妈妈，你为什么比王子重？
Māma, nǐ wèishénme bǐ wángzǐ zhòng?
Mama, why are you heavier than the prince?
- The Witch 王子？！你骗我！
Wángzǐ?! Nǐ piàn wǒ!
A prince?! You lied to me!
- Rapunzel 妈妈，我没有骗你！对不起！
Māma, wǒ méiyǒu piàn nǐ! Duìbuqǐ!
Mama, I didn't lie to you! I'm sorry!
- The Witch 我要剪你的头发！
Wǒ yào jiǎn nǐ de tóufa!
I'm going to cut your hair!
- Rapunzel 不要剪！我的头发！
Bú yào jiǎn! Wǒ de tóufa!
Don't cut it! My hair!
- The Witch 你骗了我！你走吧！去一个很远很远的地方！
Nǐ piàn le wǒ! Nǐ zǒu ba! Qù yí gè hěn yuǎn hěn yuǎn de dìfang!
You lied to me! Go! Go to a place far, far away!
- The Witch 王子今天晚上会来。我在这儿等他。
Wángzǐ jīntiān wǎnshang huì lái. Wǒ zài zhèr děng tā.
The prince will come today. I'll wait for him here.
- The Prince 长发，长发！放下你的头发！
Chángfà, Chángfà! Fàng xià nǐ de tóufa!
Rapunzel, Rapunzel! Let down your hair!
- The Witch 王子，进来吧。长发在等你。
Wángzǐ, jìnlái ba. Chángfà zài děng nǐ.
Come in, Prince. Rapunzel is waiting for you.
- The Witch 你的长发不在这儿了。鸟儿飞走了！我剪了她的头发！
Nǐ de Chángfà bú zài zhèr le. Niǎor fēi zǒu le! Wǒ jiǎn le tā de tóufa!
Your Rapunzel is not here anymore. The bird has flown away! I cut her hair!
- The Prince 什么？长发在哪儿？
Shénme? Chángfà zài nǎr?
What? Where is Rapunzel?
- The Witch 你不会再看到她了！下边都是刺！
Nǐ bú huì zài kàn dào tā le! Xiàbian dōu shì cì!
You will never see her again! Down below it's all thorns!
- The Prince 不！长发！长发在哪儿？
Bù! Chángfà! Chángfà zài nǎr?
No! Rapunzel! Where is Rapunzel?
- Narrator 王子跳下去了。下边有很多刺。
Wángzǐ tiào xiàqù le. Xiàbian yǒu hěn duō cì.
The prince jumped down. Below there were many thorns.
- The Prince 刺！啊！我的眼睛！我看不见了！
Cì! Ā! Wǒ de yǎnjing! Wǒ kàn bú jiàn le!
Thorns! Ah! My eyes! I can't see!
