The best hunter in England walks into Sherwood alone, and Robin steps out to meet him. Afterward a tired stranger in a grey cloak asks to share the soup.

In the early morning the forest was full of mist. Guy walked alone along a small path, wearing clothes made of horse hide.
- Guy of Gisborne 罗宾汉，你在哪儿？我很快就会找到你。
Luóbīnhàn, nǐ zài nǎr? Wǒ hěn kuài jiù huì zhǎodào nǐ.
Robin Hood, where are you? I'll find you soon.
- Guy of Gisborne 警长说他射箭很快。我倒要看看，他有多快。
Jǐngzhǎng shuō tā shèjiàn hěn kuài. Wǒ dào yào kànkan, tā yǒu duō kuài.
The Sheriff says he shoots fast. I'd like to see just how fast.

- Robin Hood 别拔剑，我只是路过。我也在找一个叫罗宾汉的人。
Bié bá jiàn, wǒ zhǐshì lùguò. Wǒ yě zài zhǎo yí gè jiào Luóbīnhàn de rén.
Don't draw your sword, I'm just passing by. I'm also looking for a man called Robin Hood.
- Guy of Gisborne 你也在找他？我是盖伊。警长给了我很多钱，要我抓他。
Nǐ yě zài zhǎo tā? Wǒ shì Gàiyī. Jǐngzhǎng gěi le wǒ hěn duō qián, yào wǒ zhuā tā.
You're looking for him too? I'm Guy. The Sheriff gave me lots of money to catch him.
- Robin Hood 真的吗？他长什么样子？
Zhēn de ma? Tā zhǎng shénme yàngzi?
Really? What does he look like?
- Guy of Gisborne 很瘦，爱笑，会射箭。可是我的箭比他快。
Hěn shòu, ài xiào, huì shèjiàn. Kěshì wǒ de jiàn bǐ tā kuài.
Thin, always laughing, good with a bow. But my arrows are faster than his.
- Robin Hood 很瘦，爱笑，会射箭……听起来，是个很有意思的人。
Hěn shòu, ài xiào, huì shèjiàn… tīng qǐlái, shì ge hěn yǒu yìsi de rén.
Thin, laughing, good with a bow... he sounds like an interesting man.
- Robin Hood 我不信。看，那边有一棵小树。我们比一比，谁射得准？
Wǒ bú xìn. Kàn, nàbiān yǒu yì kē xiǎo shù. Wǒmen bǐ yi bǐ, shéi shè de zhǔn?
I don't believe it. Look, there's a little tree over there. Let's see who shoots more accurately.
- Guy of Gisborne 好！我先来。
Hǎo! Wǒ xiān lái.
Fine! I'll go first.
- Narrator 盖伊的箭射中了小树，离中间只差一点儿。
Gàiyī de jiàn shèzhòng le xiǎo shù, lí zhōngjiān zhǐ chà yìdiǎnr.
Guy's arrow hit the little tree, only a hair from the center.
- Robin Hood 好箭！真的是好箭。现在，看我的。
Hǎo jiàn! Zhēn de shì hǎo jiàn. Xiànzài, kàn wǒ de.
A fine shot! Truly a fine shot. Now, watch mine.
- Narrator 罗宾的箭正好射在中间。盖伊的脸一下子白了。
Luóbīn de jiàn zhènghǎo shè zài zhōngjiān. Gàiyī de liǎn yíxiàzi bái le.
Robin's arrow landed exactly in the center. Guy's face turned white.
- Guy of Gisborne 这样的箭……你就是罗宾汉！
Zhèyàng de jiàn… nǐ jiù shì Luóbīnhàn!
An arrow like that... you are Robin Hood!
- Robin Hood 是我。我不想打你。你回家吧。
Shì wǒ. Wǒ bù xiǎng dǎ nǐ. Nǐ huíjiā ba.
It's me. I don't want to fight you. Go home.
- Narrator 树林里响起了剑的声音。过了一会儿，一切都安静了。盖伊倒在地上，没有再站起来。
Shùlín lǐ xiǎngqǐ le jiàn de shēngyīn. Guò le yíhuìr, yíqiè dōu ānjìng le. Gàiyī dǎo zài dì shang, méiyǒu zài zhàn qǐlái.
Swords rang in the trees. After a while, everything was quiet. Guy lay on the ground and did not get up again.
- Robin Hood 我不想这样……他为什么不肯回家？
Wǒ bù xiǎng zhèyàng… tā wèishénme bù kěn huíjiā?
I didn't want this... why wouldn't he go home?
- Robin Hood 警长还会再派人来。可是我们，不会怕。
Jǐngzhǎng hái huì zài pài rén lái. Kěshì wǒmen, bú huì pà.
The Sheriff will send more men. But we won't be afraid.
- Robin Hood 约翰！修士！威尔！我们回家！
Yuēhàn! Xiūshì! Wēi'ěr! Wǒmen huíjiā!
John! Friar! Will! Let's go home!
- Little John 罗宾！你在哪儿？我听到剑的声音了！
Luóbīn! Nǐ zài nǎr? Wǒ tīngdào jiàn de shēngyīn le!
Robin! Where are you? I heard swords!
- Robin Hood 我没事，约翰。我很快回来，汤别喝完了！
Wǒ méishì, Yuēhàn. Wǒ hěn kuài huílái, tāng bié hē wán le!
I'm fine, John. I'll be right back, so don't finish the soup!
- Narrator 中午，森林里的大锅正冒着热气。小约翰在煮汤。
Zhōngwǔ, sēnlín lǐ de dà guō zhèng màozhe rèqì. Xiǎo Yuēhàn zài zhǔ tāng.
At noon the big pot in the forest was steaming. Little John was cooking soup.
- Little John 今天只有汤。修士出去找肉了。
Jīntiān zhǐyǒu tāng. Xiūshì chūqù zhǎo ròu le.
Only soup today. The friar went out to find meat.
- Robin Hood 汤也好。我今天不太饿。
Tāng yě hǎo. Wǒ jīntiān bú tài è.
Soup is fine. I'm not very hungry today.
- Little John 你的脸，像下了三天的雨。出什么事了？
Nǐ de liǎn, xiàng xià le sān tiān de yǔ. Chū shénme shì le?
Your face looks like three days of rain. What happened?
- Robin Hood 没什么，约翰。喝汤吧。以后我再告诉你。
Méi shénme, Yuēhàn. Hē tāng ba. Yǐhòu wǒ zài gàosu nǐ.
Nothing, John. Drink your soup. I'll tell you later.
- King Richard 对不起。我是路过的人，又累又饿。
Duìbuqǐ. Wǒ shì lùguò de rén, yòu lèi yòu è.
Pardon me. I'm a traveler, tired and hungry.
- Little John 路过的人？这里没有路。你怎么找到我们的？
Lùguò de rén? Zhèlǐ méiyǒu lù. Nǐ zěnme zhǎodào wǒmen de?
A traveler? There's no road here. How did you find us?
- King Richard 我往有烟的地方走。你们的汤，闻起来真香。
Wǒ wǎng yǒu yān de dìfang zǒu. Nǐmen de tāng, wén qǐlái zhēn xiāng.
I walked toward the smoke. Your soup smells wonderful.
- Robin Hood 坐下吧，先生。我们的汤，谁来都可以喝。
Zuòxià ba, xiānsheng. Wǒmen de tāng, shéi lái dōu kěyǐ hē.
Sit down, sir. Our soup is for anyone who comes.
- King Richard 谢谢。我听说，这片森林里有一个人，叫罗宾汉。
Xièxie. Wǒ tīngshuō, zhè piàn sēnlín lǐ yǒu yí gè rén, jiào Luóbīnhàn.
Thank you. I heard there is a man in this forest called Robin Hood.
- King Richard 人们说，他比国王还有名。我很想见见他。
Rénmen shuō, tā bǐ guówáng hái yǒumíng. Wǒ hěn xiǎng jiànjian tā.
People say he is more famous than the king. I would very much like to meet him.
