The Lady on the White Horse
白马上的小姐
A lady on a white horse stops Robin on the forest road with a warning about the golden arrow. Back at camp, Robin has a plan and needs a very red favor.

Bàngwǎn, Luóbīn yí gè rén zǒu zài sēnlín lǐ de lù shang. Yì pǐ báimǎ hūrán dǎngzhù le tā.
At dusk Robin walked alone along a forest road. A white horse suddenly blocked his way.
- Robin Hood 喂！马上的人，请让开！
Wèi! Mǎ shang de rén, qǐng ràngkāi!
Hey! Rider, please move aside!
- Maid Marian 罗宾汉，你还是这么没有礼貌。见到朋友，先说一声你好吧。
Luóbīnhàn, nǐ háishi zhème méiyǒu lǐmào. Jiàndào péngyou, xiān shuō yì shēng nǐ hǎo ba.
Robin Hood, you are still so rude. When you meet a friend, say hello first.

Wǒ yí gè rén qímǎ chūlái de. Biérén dōu yǐwéi wǒ zài jiā lǐ kàn shū.
I rode out alone. Everyone thinks I'm at home reading.
- Robin Hood 你一个人？你不怕迷路吗？森林里的路，有时候连我都找不到。
Nǐ yí gè rén? Nǐ bú pà mílù ma? Sēnlín lǐ de lù, yǒushíhou lián wǒ dōu zhǎo bú dào.
Alone? Aren't you afraid of getting lost? Even I sometimes can't find the paths in this forest.
- Robin Hood 大小姐一个人在森林里？不怕被我们抓走吗？
Dàxiǎojie yí gè rén zài sēnlín lǐ? Bú pà bèi wǒmen zhuāzǒu ma?
A fine lady alone in the forest? Aren't you afraid we'll catch you?
- Maid Marian 你们？你们吃一头鹿，都要偷偷地吃，还能抓我？
Nǐmen? Nǐmen chī yì tóu lù, dōu yào tōutōu de chī, hái néng zhuā wǒ?
You? You have to eat a single deer in secret, and you think you can catch me?
- Robin Hood 哈哈！你说得对。你是怎么知道的？
Hāhā! Nǐ shuō de duì. Nǐ shì zěnme zhīdào de?
Ha ha! You're right. How do you know that?
- Maid Marian 罗宾，我来是为了一件事。射箭比赛，你听说了吗？
Luóbīn, wǒ lái shì wèile yí jiàn shì. Shèjiàn bǐsài, nǐ tīngshuō le ma?
Robin, I came for one reason. Have you heard about the archery contest?
- Robin Hood 听说了。第一名，有一支金箭。
Tīngshuō le. Dì-yī míng, yǒu yì zhī jīn jiàn.
I have. The winner gets a golden arrow.
- Maid Marian 那是陷阱！警长的兵会站在人群里，找穿绿衣服的人。
Nà shì xiànjǐng! Jǐngzhǎng de bīng huì zhàn zài rénqún lǐ, zhǎo chuān lǜ yīfu de rén.
It's a trap! The Sheriff's soldiers will stand in the crowd looking for a man in green.
- Robin Hood 绿衣服……我明白了。
Lǜ yīfu… wǒ míngbai le.
Green clothes... I see.
- Maid Marian 你想到办法了？罗宾汉，你的办法，常常比你的箭还危险。
Nǐ xiǎngdào bànfǎ le? Luóbīnhàn, nǐ de bànfǎ, chángcháng bǐ nǐ de jiàn hái wēixiǎn.
You've thought of a plan? Robin Hood, your plans are often more dangerous than your arrows.
- Maid Marian 小心一点儿。我不想听到你的坏消息。
Xiǎoxīn yìdiǎnr. Wǒ bù xiǎng tīngdào nǐ de huài xiāoxi.
Be careful. I don't want to hear bad news about you.
- Robin Hood 你在担心我吗？
Nǐ zài dānxīn wǒ ma?
Are you worried about me?
- Maid Marian 我担心的是森林里的鹿。再见，罗宾汉！
Wǒ dānxīn de shì sēnlín lǐ de lù. Zàijiàn, Luóbīnhàn!
I'm worried about the deer in the forest. Goodbye, Robin Hood!
- Narrator 夜里，大家坐在火边。罗宾把玛丽安的话说了一遍。
Yè lǐ, dàjiā zuò zài huǒ biān. Luóbīn bǎ Mǎlì'ān de huà shuō le yí biàn.
At night everyone sat around the fire. Robin told them what Marian had said.
- Little John 陷阱？那你别去了。金箭，我们不要。
Xiànjǐng? Nà nǐ bié qù le. Jīn jiàn, wǒmen bú yào.
A trap? Then don't go. We don't need a golden arrow.
- Friar Tuck 对。金箭又不能吃。
Duì. Jīn jiàn yòu bù néng chī.
Right. You can't eat a golden arrow.
- Robin Hood 可是我想让警长看看，谁的箭射得最好。
Kěshì wǒ xiǎng ràng jǐngzhǎng kànkan, shéi de jiàn shè de zuì hǎo.
But I want the Sheriff to see whose arrows are the best.
- Little John 你的箭，当然是最好的。可是我们要你活着回来！
Nǐ de jiàn, dāngrán shì zuì hǎo de. Kěshì wǒmen yào nǐ huózhe huílái!
Your arrows are the best, of course. But we want you to come back alive!
- Will Scarlet 可是警长认识你。你的绿衣服，他一眼就认出来了。
Kěshì jǐngzhǎng rènshi nǐ. Nǐ de lǜ yīfu, tā yì yǎn jiù rèn chūlái le.
But the Sheriff knows you. He'll know your green clothes at a glance.
- Robin Hood 所以我不能穿绿衣服。我要换一件。
Suǒyǐ wǒ bù néng chuān lǜ yīfu. Wǒ yào huàn yí jiàn.
So I can't wear green. I'll change into something else.
- Little John 换什么？我们这儿只有绿衣服。
Huàn shénme? Wǒmen zhèr zhǐyǒu lǜ yīfu.
Into what? We only have green clothes here.
- Friar Tuck 还有一件红的。就在那棵树上。
Hái yǒu yí jiàn hóng de. Jiù zài nà kē shù shang.
There's a red one. Right there on that tree.
- Will Scarlet 等一下！你们看着我做什么？
Děng yíxià! Nǐmen kànzhe wǒ zuò shénme?
Wait! Why are you all looking at me?
- Robin Hood 很红，很亮。没有人会想到，罗宾汉会穿这么红。
Hěn hóng, hěn liàng. Méiyǒu rén huì xiǎngdào, Luóbīnhàn huì chuān zhème hóng.
So red, so bright. Nobody would ever think Robin Hood would wear something this red.
- Will Scarlet 这是我最好的衣服！是我妈妈做的！
Zhè shì wǒ zuì hǎo de yīfu! Shì wǒ māma zuò de!
That's my best tunic! My mother made it!
- Robin Hood 我会小心的。我保证，一点儿也不会弄脏它。
Wǒ huì xiǎoxīn de. Wǒ bǎozhèng, yìdiǎnr yě bú huì nòng zāng tā.
I'll be careful. I promise I won't get it dirty at all.
- Little John 威尔，红色很好看。罗宾穿，一定更好看！
Wēi'ěr, hóngsè hěn hǎokàn. Luóbīn chuān, yídìng gèng hǎokàn!
Will, red looks great. On Robin it'll look even better!
- Friar Tuck 警长在找绿衣人，谁会看一个红衣人？哈哈！
Jǐngzhǎng zài zhǎo lǜ yī rén, shéi huì kàn yí gè hóng yī rén? Hāhā!
The Sheriff is looking for a man in green. Who will look at a man in red? Ha ha!
- Robin Hood 威尔，好朋友……你的红衣服，可以借我一天吗？
Wēi'ěr, hǎo péngyou… nǐ de hóng yīfu, kěyǐ jiè wǒ yì tiān ma?
Will, good friend... may I borrow your red tunic for a day?
