Xiaoyu and Doudou try to reach the roof, but the door is locked and Auntie Zhang says she lost the key.

Gāo lǎoshī shuō, hézi zài hěn gāo de dìfang. Wūdǐng bú shì zuì gāo de dìfang ma?
Mr. Gao said the box is in a very high place. Isn't the roof the highest place?
- Fang Xiaoyu 对。盒子一定在屋顶上。可是我们怎么进去？
Duì. Hézi yídìng zài wūdǐng shàng. Kěshì wǒmen zěnme jìnqù?
Right. The box must be on the roof. But how do we get in?
- Auntie Zhang 你们在这儿做什么？
Nǐmen zài zhèr zuò shénme?
What are you two doing here?
- Doudou 张阿姨！我们……我们在玩游戏！
Zhāng āyí! Wǒmen… Wǒmen zài wán yóuxì!
Auntie Zhang! We... we're playing a game!
- Auntie Zhang 这里不能玩。屋顶很危险，我关了三个月了。
Zhèlǐ bù néng wán. Wūdǐng hěn wēixiǎn, wǒ guān le sān gè yuè le.
You can't play here. The roof is dangerous. I've kept it shut for three months.
- Fang Xiaoyu 张阿姨，对不起。我只是想看看星星。
Zhāng āyí, duìbùqǐ. Wǒ zhǐshì xiǎng kànkan xīngxīng.
I'm sorry, Auntie Zhang. I only wanted to look at the stars.
- Auntie Zhang 看星星，在你自己的窗户就可以。豆豆，回家吃饭。
Kàn xīngxīng, zài nǐ zìjǐ de chuānghu jiù kěyǐ. Dòudou, huíjiā chīfàn.
You can look at stars from your window. Doudou, go home for dinner.

Zhāng āyí, wǒ kěyǐ bāng nín dào chá ma?
Auntie Zhang, may I pour you some tea?
- Auntie Zhang ……你是个好孩子。坐吧。
… Nǐ shì gè hǎo háizi. Zuò ba.
...You're a good girl. Sit down.

Zhāng āyí, Gāo lǎoshī shì shénmeyàng de rén?
Auntie Zhang, what kind of person was Mr. Gao?
- Auntie Zhang 他教了三十年书。他爱笑，爱说话，爱猜谜。
Tā jiào le sān shí nián shū. Tā ài xiào, ài shuōhuà, ài cāi mí.
He taught school for thirty years. He loved to laugh, to talk, and to make riddles.
- Auntie Zhang 每年元宵节，他请全楼的人，在屋顶吃汤圆。
Měi nián yuánxiāojié, tā qǐng quán lóu de rén, zài wūdǐng chī tāngyuán.
Every Lantern Festival, he invited the whole building to eat tangyuan on the roof.
- Fang Xiaoyu 张阿姨，桌子上的照片，为什么是倒过来的？
Zhāng āyí, zhuōzi shàng de zhàopiān, wèishénme shì dào guòlái de?
Auntie Zhang, why is the photo on your desk turned upside down?
- Auntie Zhang 那张照片，你不要动！

Nà wèishénme xiànzài wūdǐng guān le?
Then why is the roof closed now?
- Auntie Zhang 他走以后，屋顶太安静了。我不想上去。
Tā zǒu yǐhòu, wūdǐng tài ānjìng le. Wǒ bù xiǎng shàngqù.
Since he left, the roof is too quiet. I don't want to go up.
- Fang Xiaoyu 他为什么走得这么快？
Tā wèishénme zǒu de zhème kuài?
Why did he leave so fast?
- Auntie Zhang 这是我的事。小雨，你不要问太多。
Zhè shì wǒ de shì. Xiǎoyǔ, nǐ búyào wèn tài duō.

- Fang Xiaoyu 对不起。我不问了。
Duìbùqǐ. Wǒ bú wèn le.
I'm sorry. I won't ask.
- Auntie Zhang 屋顶的钥匙，我三个月前就丢了。谁也上不去。
Wūdǐng de yàoshi, wǒ sān gè yuè qián jiù diū le. Shuí yě shàng bú qù.
I lost the roof key three months ago. Nobody can go up.
- Fang Xiaoyu 她的口袋在响。有钥匙的声音。她在说谎。
Tā de kǒudài zài xiǎng. Yǒu yàoshi de shēngyīn. Tā zài shuōhuǎng.
Her pocket is jingling. That's the sound of keys. She's lying.
- Auntie Zhang 喝完茶就回去休息吧。晚安。
Hē wán chá jiù huíqù xiūxi ba. Wǎn'ān.
Finish your tea and go rest. Good night.
- Fang Xiaoyu 晚安，张阿姨。
Wǎn'ān, Zhāng āyí.
Good night, Auntie Zhang.
- Doudou 小雨姐姐！我想到办法了！明天我们请吴奶奶和老陈来帮忙。可是他们不能同时见面！
Xiǎoyǔ jiějie! Wǒ xiǎngdào bànfǎ le! Míngtiān wǒmen qǐng Wú nǎinai hé Lǎo Chén lái bāngmáng. Kěshì tāmen bù néng tóngshí jiànmiàn!
Xiaoyu! I have an idea! Tomorrow let's ask Grandma Wu and Old Chen to help. But they can't meet at the same time!
