The Queen hurries home to ask her mirror the old question. At the little house, seven tired dwarfs call at a door that stays shut.

That evening, the Queen got back to the palace and came before the magic mirror.
- The Queen 白雪公主吃了我的毒苹果。她死了！
Báixuě gōngzhǔ chī le wǒ de dú píngguǒ. Tā sǐ le!
Snow White ate my poisoned apple. She's dead!
- The Queen 魔镜，魔镜，你说，谁最漂亮？
Mójìng, mójìng, nǐ shuō, shéi zuì piàoliang?

Snow White, we're home! What's for dinner today?
- The First Dwarf 门没有开。白雪公主，你在家吗？
Mén méiyǒu kāi. Báixuě gōngzhǔ, nǐ zài jiā ma?
The door isn't open. Snow White, are you home?
- The Seventh Dwarf 她说了，我们回来，她开门。她怎么不开？
Tā shuō le, wǒmen huílái, tā kāi mén. Tā zěnme bù kāi?
She said when we came home, she'd open the door. Why isn't she opening it?
- The First Dwarf 没有人说话……我来开门。
Méiyǒu rén shuōhuà… wǒ lái kāi mén.
No one's answering... I'll open the door.
- The Seventh Dwarf 白雪公主！她在地上！
Báixuě gōngzhǔ! Tā zài dìshang!
Snow White! She's on the floor!
- The First Dwarf 她不动，也不说话。她怎么了？
Tā bú dòng, yě bù shuōhuà. Tā zěnme le?
She isn't moving, and she isn't speaking. What's wrong with her?
- The First Dwarf 看看她的带子！还有她的头发！
Kànkan tā de dàizi! Hái yǒu tā de tóufa!
Check her laces! And her hair!
- The Seventh Dwarf 带子没有问题。头发里也没有梳子。
Dàizi méiyǒu wèntí. Tóufa li yě méiyǒu shūzi.
Nothing's wrong with the laces. And there's no comb in her hair.
- The Seventh Dwarf 这儿有半个红苹果。她吃了一口！
Zhèr yǒu bàn gè hóng píngguǒ. Tā chī le yì kǒu!
Here's half a red apple. She took a bite!
- The First Dwarf 苹果里有毒！是王后！
Píngguǒ li yǒu dú! Shì wánghòu!
The apple is poisoned! It was the Queen!
- The Seventh Dwarf 门没有开。王后是怎么给她苹果的？
Mén méiyǒu kāi. Wánghòu shì zěnme gěi tā píngguǒ de?
The door wasn't open. So how did the Queen give her the apple?
- The First Dwarf 是窗户。她没有开门，她开了窗户。
Shì chuānghu. Tā méiyǒu kāi mén, tā kāi le chuānghu.
The window. She didn't open the door. She opened the window.
- The First Dwarf 水！酒！我们给她洗一洗。
Shuǐ! Jiǔ! Wǒmen gěi tā xǐ yi xǐ.
Water! Wine! Let's wash her.
- The Seventh Dwarf 白雪公主，醒一醒！我们回来了！
Báixuě gōngzhǔ, xǐng yi xǐng! Wǒmen huílái le!
Snow White, wake up! We're home!
- Narrator 他们什么都做了。白雪公主还是没有醒。
Tāmen shénme dōu zuò le. Báixuě gōngzhǔ háishi méiyǒu xǐng.
They did everything they could. Snow White still did not wake.
- The First Dwarf 她不会醒了。白雪公主……死了。
Tā bú huì xǐng le. Báixuě gōngzhǔ… sǐ le.
She won't wake up. Snow White is... dead.
- The Seventh Dwarf 我们不在家……她一个人在这儿。
Wǒmen bú zài jiā… tā yí gè rén zài zhèr.
We weren't home... she was here all alone.
- Narrator 七个小矮人坐在她的床边，哭了三天。
Qī gè xiǎo'ǎirén zuò zài tā de chuáng biān, kū le sān tiān.
The seven dwarfs sat by her bed and wept for three days.
- The Seventh Dwarf 我不想吃饭，也不想睡觉。
Wǒ bù xiǎng chī fàn, yě bù xiǎng shuìjiào.
I don't want to eat, and I don't want to sleep.
- The First Dwarf 三天了。我们要和白雪公主说再见了。
Sān tiān le. Wǒmen yào hé Báixuě gōngzhǔ shuō zàijiàn le.
It's been three days. We have to say goodbye to Snow White.
- The Seventh Dwarf 再见？你们看，她的脸还是红红的！
Zàijiàn? Nǐmen kàn, tā de liǎn háishi hónghóng de!
Goodbye? Look, her cheeks are still red!
- The Seventh Dwarf 她不像死了。她像在睡觉。
Tā bú xiàng sǐ le. Tā xiàng zài shuìjiào.
She doesn't look dead. She looks like she's asleep.
- The First Dwarf 对……她不能睡在黑黑的地里。
Duì… tā bù néng shuì zài hēihēi de dì li.
Yes... she can't sleep in the dark ground.
