Deep in the Dragon Palace, the prince shows off two new treasures to his father, while seven worried immortals search the dark sea for their missing friend.

Dōng Hǎi de zuì xiàbian, yǒu yí gè hěn dà de dìfang, jiào Lónggōng. Nà shì Lóngwáng de jiā.
At the very bottom of the Eastern Sea was a great place called the Dragon Palace. It was the Dragon King's home.
- The Dragon Prince 父王！您快看，我找到了两个宝贝！
Fùwáng! Nín kuài kàn, wǒ zhǎodào le liǎng gè bǎobèi!
Father! Look, quick! I've found two treasures!
- The Dragon King 儿子，什么宝贝？快拿来给我看看！
Érzi, shénme bǎobèi? Kuài ná lái gěi wǒ kànkan!
What treasures, my son? Bring them here, let me see!

The first is this basket! The flowers in it are so bright, and they smell so sweet!
- The Dragon King 好漂亮的花篮！第二个呢？
Hǎo piàoliang de huālán! Dì èr gè ne?
What a beautiful basket! And the second?
- The Dragon Prince 第二个，在这个大贝壳里。是一个会唱歌的人！
Dì èr gè, zài zhège dà bèiké lǐ. Shì yí gè huì chàng gē de rén!
The second is in this big clam shell. It's a man who can sing!
- Lan Caihe 我不是宝贝！我是蓝采和！快放我出去！
Wǒ bú shì bǎobèi! Wǒ shì Lán Cǎihé! Kuài fàng wǒ chūqù!
I'm not a treasure! I'm Lan Caihe! Let me out of here!
- The Dragon King 会唱歌的宝贝？好！你唱一个给我听听。
Huì chàng gē de bǎobèi? Hǎo! Nǐ chàng yí gè gěi wǒ tīngting.
A treasure that sings? Splendid! Sing me a song.
- Lan Caihe 不唱，不唱！我只给朋友唱歌！
Bú chàng, bú chàng! Wǒ zhǐ gěi péngyou chàng gē!
No, no! I only sing for my friends!
- The Dragon King 儿子，这个人和花篮，是从哪儿来的？
Érzi, zhège rén hé huālán, shì cóng nǎr lái de?
Son, where did this man and this basket come from?
- The Dragon Prince 是……是他自己掉到海里的！掉到我们海里的东西，都是我们的！
Shì… shì tā zìjǐ diào dào hǎi lǐ de! Diào dào wǒmen hǎi lǐ de dōngxi, dōu shì wǒmen de!
He… he fell into the sea all by himself! Whatever falls into our sea belongs to us!
- Lan Caihe 他说假话！是他把我拉下来的！
Tā shuō jiǎhuà! Shì tā bǎ wǒ lā xiàlái de!
He's lying! He's the one who pulled me down here!
- The Dragon King 不可能！我的儿子是好孩子，不会说假话！
Bù kěnéng! Wǒ de érzi shì hǎo háizi, bú huì shuō jiǎhuà!
Impossible! My son is a good boy. He would never lie!
- Lan Caihe 没有人相信我……好，那我就大声唱！朋友们一定会听见！
Méiyǒu rén xiāngxìn wǒ… Hǎo, nà wǒ jiù dàshēng chàng! Péngyoumen yídìng huì tīngjiàn!
Nobody believes me… Fine, then I'll sing as loud as I can! My friends are sure to hear me!
- Narrator 这时候，在海的上边，七个神仙还在找蓝采和。
Zhè shíhou, zài hǎi de shàngbian, qī gè shénxiān hái zài zhǎo Lán Cǎihé.
Meanwhile, up on the sea, the seven immortals were still searching for Lan Caihe.
- Lü Dongbin 海这么大，天这么黑，蓝采和在哪儿呢？
Hǎi zhème dà, tiān zhème hēi, Lán Cǎihé zài nǎr ne?
The sea is so big, and it's so dark. Where can Lan Caihe be?
- He Xiangu 我来！荷花，荷花，给我们一点儿光吧！
Wǒ lái! Héhuā, héhuā, gěi wǒmen yìdiǎnr guāng ba!
Leave it to me! Lotus, lotus, give us some light!
- Narrator 何仙姑的荷花马上亮了，大海里亮得像白天一样。
Hé Xiān'gū de héhuā mǎshàng liàng le, dàhǎi lǐ liàng de xiàng báitiān yíyàng.
At once He Xiangu's lotus began to glow, and the sea grew as bright as day.
- Zhang Guolao 这次老张先看见了！下边有一个大房子，门口还有很多鱼！
Zhè cì Lǎo Zhāng xiān kànjiàn le! Xiàbian yǒu yí gè dà fángzi, ménkǒu hái yǒu hěn duō yú!
This time Old Zhang saw it first! There's a big house down there, with lots of fish at the door!
- Li Tieguai 吕洞宾，那是龙宫！那个小龙，一定是龙王的儿子！
Lǚ Dòngbīn, nà shì Lónggōng! Nàge xiǎo lóng, yídìng shì Lóngwáng de érzi!
Lü Dongbin, that's the Dragon Palace! That little dragon must be the Dragon King's son!
- Lü Dongbin 走！我们下去找他！
Zǒu! Wǒmen xiàqù zhǎo tā!
Come on! We're going down to find him!
- Narrator 七个神仙来到了龙宫的大门口。
Qī gè shénxiān lái dào le Lónggōng de dà ménkǒu.
The seven immortals came to the great gate of the Dragon Palace.
- Lü Dongbin 龙王的儿子，出来！把我们的朋友还给我们！
Lóngwáng de érzi, chūlái! Bǎ wǒmen de péngyou huán gěi wǒmen!
Son of the Dragon King, come out! Give us back our friend!
- The Dragon Prince 我是东海的龙太子！什么朋友？我没见过！
Wǒ shì Dōng Hǎi de Lóng Tàizǐ! Shénme péngyou? Wǒ méi jiàn guo!
I am the Dragon Prince of the Eastern Sea! What friend? I've never seen him!
- Lan Caihe 花儿红，花儿白，花篮里边花儿开！
Huār hóng, huār bái, huālán lǐbian huār kāi!
Flowers red, flowers white, flowers blooming in my basket!
- Zhang Guolao 什么声音？龙宫里的鱼，也会唱歌吗？
Shénme shēngyīn? Lónggōng lǐ de yú, yě huì chàng gē ma?
What's that? Can the fish in the Dragon Palace sing too?
- Lü Dongbin 那不是鱼，是蓝采和的歌！他就在里边！
Nà bú shì yú, shì Lán Cǎihé de gē! Tā jiù zài lǐbian!
That's no fish, that's Lan Caihe's song! He's right in there!
- The Dragon Prince 是又怎么样？他和花篮，现在都是我的！
Shì yòu zěnmeyàng? Tā hé huālán, xiànzài dōu shì wǒ de!
So what if he is? He and the basket both belong to me now!
- Lü Dongbin 龙太子，看见我的宝剑了吗？我再问你一次：你还不还？
Lóng Tàizǐ, kànjiàn wǒ de bǎojiàn le ma? Wǒ zài wèn nǐ yí cì: nǐ huán bù huán?
Dragon Prince, do you see my sword? I'll ask you one more time: will you give them back or not?
- The Dragon Prince 不还！虾兵蟹将，都出来！把他们都给我抓起来！
Bù huán! Xiā bīng xiè jiàng, dōu chūlái! Bǎ tāmen dōu gěi wǒ zhuā qǐlái!
Never! Shrimp soldiers, crab generals, out here, all of you! Seize them!
