- The King 先喝完这个房子里的水，才可以和她结婚！
Xiān hē wán zhège fángzi lǐ de shuǐ, cái kěyǐ hé tā jiéhūn!
First drink all the water in this house, and then you may marry her!
- Hans 这么多水！我一个人喝不完……
Zhème duō shuǐ! Wǒ yí gè rén hē bu wán…
So much water! I can't drink it all by myself...
- The Little Grey Man 别怕，孩子。我来帮你。

Don't be afraid, child. I'll help you.
- Hans 灰衣人！是您！您怎么在这儿？
Huīyīrén! Shì nín! Nín zěnme zài zhèr?
Grey Man! It's you! What are you doing here?
- The Little Grey Man 你给过我面包和水。现在，我来喝。
Nǐ gěi guo wǒ miànbāo hé shuǐ. Xiànzài, wǒ lái hē.
You gave me bread and water. Now it's my turn to drink.
- The Little Grey Man 好喝！好喝！还有吗？

- The King 什么？水都没有了？

What? All the water is gone?
- The King 那你再吃完这么多面包！

Then eat up all this bread, too!
- The Little Grey Man 面包？太好了！我又饿了！
Miànbāo? Tài hǎo le! Wǒ yòu è le!
Bread? Wonderful! I'm hungry again!
- The King 好吧，你们太厉害了。
Hǎo ba, nǐmen tài lìhai le.
All right, you two are too clever for me.
- The King 汉斯，你可以和公主结婚了。
Hànsī, nǐ kěyǐ hé gōngzhǔ jiéhūn le.
Hans, you may marry the princess.
- The Princess 汉斯，是你让我笑了。谢谢你。
Hànsī, shì nǐ ràng wǒ xiào le. Xièxie nǐ.
Hans, you made me laugh. Thank you.
- Hans 你笑起来真好看。我也想天天看你笑。
Nǐ xiào qǐlái zhēn hǎokàn. Wǒ yě xiǎng tiāntiān kàn nǐ xiào.
