Māma, nǐ tīngdào le ma? Tā shuō chuáng lǐ yǒu dōngxi!
Mother, did you hear that? She says there's something in the bed!
- The Queen 听到了！哈哈哈！
Tīngdào le! Hāhāhā!
I heard! Ha ha ha!
- The Princess 你为什么笑？我很疼！
Nǐ wèishénme xiào? Wǒ hěn téng!
Why are you laughing? I'm hurting!
- The Queen 对不起，孩子！我在床垫下放了豌豆。
Duìbuqǐ, háizi! Wǒ zài chuángdiàn xià fàng le wāndòu.
Sorry, child! I put a pea under the mattresses.
- The Princess 一个豌豆？二十个床垫，我也知道？
Yí gè wāndòu? Èrshí gè chuángdiàn, wǒ yě zhīdào?
One pea? Under twenty mattresses, and I still knew?
- The Queen 对！只有真公主能感觉到。

- The Princess 结婚？我们才认识一天！
Jiéhūn? Wǒmen cái rènshi yì tiān!
Marry? We've only known each other one day!
- The Prince 一天就够了！我找了一年了！
Yì tiān jiù gòu le! Wǒ zhǎo le yì nián le!
One day is enough! I've been looking for a year!
- The Princess 可是，我要一张舒服的床！
Kěshì, wǒ yào yì zhāng shūfu de chuáng!
But I want a comfortable bed!
- Narrator 很多年过去了。豌豆在博物馆里，大家都来看它。
Hěn duō nián guòqù le. Wāndòu zài bówùguǎn lǐ, dàjiā dōu lái kàn tā.
Many years passed. The pea was in a museum, and everyone came to see it.
- The Museum Guide 大家好！欢迎来博物馆！这就是有名的豌豆！
Dàjiā hǎo! Huānyíng lái bówùguǎn! Zhè jiù shì yǒumíng de wāndòu!
Hello, everyone! Welcome to the museum! This is the famous pea!

Tā hěn xiǎo hěn xiǎo. Kěshì, tā zhǎodào le zhēn gōngzhǔ!
It's tiny, so tiny. But it found the real princess!

- The Princess 小豌豆，你好。你让我疼了一夜！
Xiǎo wāndòu, nǐ hǎo. Nǐ ràng wǒ téng le yí yè!
Hello, little pea. You hurt me all night long!
- The Prince 它也让我找到了你，我的公主。
Tā yě ràng wǒ zhǎodào le nǐ, wǒ de gōngzhǔ.
And it helped me find you, my princess.
- The Museum Guide 两位，请小声一点！博物馆里不能大声说话！
Liǎng wèi, qǐng xiǎoshēng yìdiǎn! Bówùguǎn lǐ bù néng dàshēng shuōhuà!
