Kǎi qù le hěn yuǎn de dìfang. Wǒ bù zhīdào zài nǎr.
Kai went far away. I don't know where.
- Robber Girl 看！这些鸽子都是我的。
Kàn! Zhèxiē gēzi dōu shì wǒ de.
Look! These doves are all mine.
- Dove 我们是鸽子！我们知道！我们看见了凯！
Wǒmen shì gēzi! Wǒmen zhīdào! Wǒmen kànjiàn le Kǎi!
We're doves! We know! We saw Kai!
- Gerda 什么？鸽子会说话？
Shénme? Gēzi huì shuōhuà?
What? The doves can talk?
- Dove 他坐在女王的雪橇上。往北方去了。
Tā zuò zài nǚwáng de xuěqiāo shàng. Wǎng běifāng qù le.
He rode on the Queen's sleigh. It went north.
- Gerda 北方！在哪儿？谁知道北方？
Běifāng! Zài nǎr? Shéi zhīdào běifāng?
The north! Where is that? Who knows the way north?
- Robber Girl 我的驯鹿知道。你看，他在那儿。
Wǒ de xùnlù zhīdào. Nǐ kàn, tā zài nàr.
My reindeer knows. Look, he's over there.
- Robber Girl 每天晚上，我用刀逗他。他怕极了！
Měi tiān wǎnshang, wǒ yòng dāo dòu tā. Tā pà jí le!
Every night I tease him with my knife. He's terrified!
- Reindeer 是的。我真的怕。你的刀很大。
Shì de. Wǒ zhēn de pà. Nǐ de dāo hěn dà.
Yes. I really am. Your knife is very big.
- Robber Girl 睡觉吧。我抱着刀睡。别动！
Shuìjiào ba. Wǒ bào zhe dāo shuì. Bié dòng!
Time to sleep. I sleep hugging my knife. Don't move!
- Gerda 好……我不动。晚安。
Hǎo… wǒ bú dòng. Wǎn'ān.
Okay... I won't move. Good night.
- Reindeer 格尔达，你醒着吗？
Gé'ěrdá, nǐ xǐng zhe ma?
Gerda, are you awake?
- Gerda 醒着。你怎么知道我的名字？
Xǐng zhe. Nǐ zěnme zhīdào wǒ de míngzi?
Yes. How do you know my name?
- Reindeer 我听见了你的故事。我从北方来。我知道女王的家。
Wǒ tīngjiàn le nǐ de gùshi. Wǒ cóng běifāng lái. Wǒ zhīdào nǚwáng de jiā.
I heard your story. I come from the north. I know the Queen's home.
- Gerda 请你带我去！我要找凯！
Qǐng nǐ dài wǒ qù! Wǒ yào zhǎo Kǎi!
Please take me there! I have to find Kai!
- Robber Girl 我都听见了。……好吧。我放你走。
Wǒ dōu tīngjiàn le. … Hǎo ba. Wǒ fàng nǐ zǒu.
I heard everything. ...Fine. I'll let you go.
- Robber Girl 快走！天要亮了。给你我的手套。你的手很冷。
Kuài zǒu! Tiān yào liàng le. Gěi nǐ wǒ de shǒutào. Nǐ de shǒu hěn lěng.
Go! It's almost morning. Take my gloves. Your hands are freezing.
- Gerda 谢谢你。你是好人。
Xièxie nǐ. Nǐ shì hǎo rén.
Thank you. You're a good person.
- Robber Girl 我不是！……快走吧。我才不哭。
Wǒ bú shì! … Kuài zǒu ba. Wǒ cái bù kū.
I am not! ...Just go. I'm definitely not crying.
- Reindeer 上来，格尔达！抓紧我。
Shànglái, Gé'ěrdá! Zhuājǐn wǒ.
Climb up, Gerda! Hold on tight.
- Gerda 走吧，驯鹿！我们去找凯！
Zǒu ba, xùnlù! Wǒmen qù zhǎo Kǎi!

- Reindeer 抓紧了。女王的家，比你想的还冷。
