The Island

Jim tells the doctor and captain what he heard. Then the island rises from the sea, and in the trees a stranger is waiting for him.

It's true. I was in the apple barrel, and I heard Silver.

I don't know. But many sailors are his men.

The squire doesn't know yet. He likes Silver so much.
- Captain Smollett 我们不能让西尔弗知道我们知道。
Wǒmen bù néng ràng Xī'ěrfú zhīdào wǒmen zhīdào.
We can't let Silver know that we know.
- Jim Hawkins 那我们怎么办？
Nà wǒmen zěnme bàn?
Then what do we do?
- Captain Smollett 到了岛上，我们看着他们。有事，就回船上来。
Dào le dǎo shàng, wǒmen kànzhe tāmen. Yǒu shì, jiù huí chuán shàng lái.
On the island, we watch them. If there's trouble, come back to the ship.
- Dr. Livesey 吉姆，你是我们的眼睛。你要小心。
Jímǔ, nǐ shì wǒmen de yǎnjing. Nǐ yào xiǎoxīn.
Jim, you are our eyes. Be careful.
- Jim Hawkins 我会的，医生。我不怕。
Wǒ huì de, yīshēng. Wǒ bú pà.
I will, Doctor. I'm not afraid.
- Captain Smollett 好孩子。现在回去睡觉，别让人看到你。
Hǎo háizi. Xiànzài huíqù shuìjiào, bié ràng rén kàndào nǐ.
Good boy. Go to bed now, and don't let anyone see you.
- Dr. Livesey 吉姆，今晚你做得很好。
Jímǔ, jīnwǎn nǐ zuò de hěn hǎo.
Jim, you did very well tonight.
- Captain Smollett 明天早上，我们就会看到那个岛。
Míngtiān zǎoshang, wǒmen jiù huì kàndào nàge dǎo.
Tomorrow morning we will see the island.
- A sailor 陆地！陆地！前面有一个岛！
Lùdì! Lùdì! Qiánmiàn yǒu yí gè dǎo!
Land! Land! There's an island ahead!
- Long John Silver 船长，就是这里！这个岛，我以前来过。
Chuánzhǎng, jiù shì zhèlǐ! Zhège dǎo, wǒ yǐqián lái guo.
Captain, this is the place! I've been to this island before.
- Captain Smollett 是吗？那你说说，岛上有什么？
Shì ma? Nà nǐ shuōshuo, dǎo shàng yǒu shénme?
Is that so? Then tell me, what's on the island?
- Long John Silver 有山，有大树，还有很多鸟。船可以停在那边。
Yǒu shān, yǒu dà shù, hái yǒu hěn duō niǎo. Chuán kěyǐ tíng zài nàbiān.
There are hills, big trees and lots of birds. The ship can stop over there.
- Jim Hawkins 他来过这个岛！他真的是海盗！
Tā lái guo zhège dǎo! Tā zhēn de shì hǎidào!
He has been here before! He really is a pirate!
- Long John Silver 吉姆，你看那座山。它叫望远镜山。
Jímǔ, nǐ kàn nà zuò shān. Tā jiào Wàngyuǎnjìng Shān.
Jim, look at that hill. It's called Spyglass Hill.
- Jim Hawkins 山上什么也没有，可是我觉得有眼睛在看我们。
Shān shàng shénme yě méiyǒu, kěshì wǒ juéde yǒu yǎnjing zài kàn wǒmen.
There's nothing on the hill, but I feel eyes watching us.
- Captain Smollett 今天大家可以上岛玩。可是天黑以前，都要回来，一个也不能少。
Jīntiān dàjiā kěyǐ shàng dǎo wán. Kěshì tiān hēi yǐqián, dōu yào huílái, yí gè yě bù néng shǎo.
Today everyone may go ashore. But be back before dark, every last one of you.
- Long John Silver 太好了！走吧，孩子们！
Tài hǎo le! Zǒu ba, háizimen!
Wonderful! Let's go, lads!
- Jim Hawkins 我也去。这样我能看看他们要做什么，也能听到他们说话。
Wǒ yě qù. Zhèyàng wǒ néng kànkan tāmen yào zuò shénme, yě néng tīngdào tāmen shuōhuà.
I'll go too. That way I can see what they're up to.
- A pirate 快点！我们上山去找！
Kuài diǎn! Wǒmen shàng shān qù zhǎo!
Hurry! Let's go up the hill and search!
- Jim Hawkins 他们往山上走了。我快跑进树林！
Tāmen wǎng shān shàng zǒu le. Wǒ kuài pǎo jìn shùlín!
They're going up the hill. I'll run into the woods!
- Jim Hawkins 西尔弗还没有发现我。我要找一个安全的地方。
Xī'ěrfú hái méiyǒu fāxiàn wǒ. Wǒ yào zhǎo yí gè ānquán de dìfang.
Silver hasn't noticed me yet. I need to find a safe place.
- Jim Hawkins 好多大树。只有我一个人了。
Hǎo duō dà shù. Zhǐyǒu wǒ yí gè rén le.
So many big trees. I'm all alone now.
- Jim Hawkins 谁在那里？树后面有人！
Shéi zài nàlǐ? Shù hòumiàn yǒu rén!
Who's there? Somebody is behind the tree!
- Ben Gunn 别怕，孩子。我叫本·冈恩。
Bié pà, háizi. Wǒ jiào Běn Gāng'ēn.
Don't be afraid, boy. My name is Ben Gunn.
- Jim Hawkins 你怎么一个人在这里？
Nǐ zěnme yí gè rén zài zhèlǐ?
Why are you here all alone?
- Ben Gunn 我在岛上三年了。你有奶酪吗？
Wǒ zài dǎo shàng sān nián le. Nǐ yǒu nǎilào ma?
I've been on this island three years. Do you have any cheese?
- Ben Gunn 给我一块，我就告诉你一个大秘密！
Gěi wǒ yí kuài, wǒ jiù gàosu nǐ yí gè dà mìmì!
Give me a piece, and I'll tell you a big secret!
