This free printable sheet stays with the body itself: 头 (tóu, head), 头发 (tóu fa, hair), 脸 (liǎn, face), 眼睛 (yǎn jing, eyes), 耳朵 (ěr duo, ears), 鼻子 (bí zi, nose), 嘴 (zuǐ, mouth), 手 (shǒu, hand), 胳膊 (gē bo, arm), 肚子 (dù zi, stomach), 腿 (tuǐ, leg) and 脚 (jiǎo, foot). Most sit at HSK 2, and every one prints with pinyin above 田字格 (tián zì gé) grids.
The flesh radical hiding in plain sight
Trace 脸, 胳膊, 肚子, 腿 and 脚 and you will keep drawing the same small box on the left. It looks like 月, the moon, but in body words it is a compressed 肉, the character for flesh. Chinese files most anatomy under it, which is why the component turns up again in 脑 for brain and 背 for back. Spotting it means an unfamiliar character with that left edge is probably a part of you.
Eyes, ears and the two-syllable habit
Faces work differently. 眼睛 doubles the eye component 目, 耳朵 opens with the pictograph 耳, and 鼻子 sits under 自, which originally drew a nose and only later came to mean self. Notice too that Mandarin dislikes leaving several of these nouns bare: 鼻子 and 肚子 take a 子 ending and 耳朵 takes 朵, which is the language's preference for two-beat words showing up again, so learn 鼻子 rather than 鼻 on its own.
Trace the guided strokes, then write from memory in the empty squares while you touch what you are naming. When you need the words for feeling unwell, the body, health and emergency worksheet picks up where this one stops, and the Chinese worksheet generator builds custom pages from any list.

Frequently asked questions
Is this worksheet free to download as a PDF?
Yes. The Body Parts worksheet is free to print or save as a PDF, with no account or email needed. Press Print / Download PDF: on a computer the PDF opens ready to print or save, and on a phone it goes to your share sheet. A4 or US Letter follows your country.
What level is this worksheet?
It suits learners from about HSK 3. That is an editorial estimate for the Body Parts topic, not an official HSK word list, so a few of its 12 words may be harder. Each word prints with tone-marked pinyin and an English meaning to help.
Can I print copies for my class?
Yes. Print as many copies as you like — it's free. For a class set, press Change the words and open More options to add an answer key, a class line or a dictation page; the Student PDF leaves the key out. Test turns the sheet into a quiz.
Can I change the words or use traditional characters?
Yes. Press Change the words to open this sheet in the generator, then add, remove or replace words, up to 20 per sheet. Set Characters to Traditional to switch the whole sheet to traditional characters; a word with no verified traditional form stays as you typed it.
How should I practice with this worksheet?
Trace the gray guides first, saying each word aloud, then cover the model and write the characters from memory in the blank boxes. Scan the sheet's QR code or open the Practice tab to watch each stroke animate, trace it, then recall it without a guide. Revisit missed words a day or two later.
