The mirror has news for the queen: Snow White is alive. So the queen puts on old clothes and carries a shining red apple into the forest.

That hunter… he disobeyed me!
- The Queen 好。这一次，我自己去。
Hǎo. Zhè yí cì, wǒ zìjǐ qù.
Very well. This time, I'll go myself.
- The Queen 一个红红的大苹果。红的一半有毒，白的一半没有毒。
Yí gè hónghóng de dà píngguǒ. Hóng de yíbàn yǒu dú, bái de yíbàn méiyǒu dú.
One big, bright red apple. The red half is poisoned. The white half is not.
- Narrator 王后穿上黑黑的旧衣服，像一个老奶奶。
Wánghòu chuānshàng hēihēi de jiù yīfu, xiàng yí gè lǎo nǎinai.
The queen put on old black clothes, and looked just like a little old woman.
- Narrator 她走过七座山，来到了小房子的门口。
Tā zǒuguò qī zuò shān, láidào le xiǎo fángzi de ménkǒu.
She crossed seven mountains and came to the door of the little house.
- The Queen 卖苹果！又大又红的苹果！
Mài píngguǒ! Yòu dà yòu hóng de píngguǒ!
Apples for sale! Big red apples!
- Snow White 对不起，老奶奶。我不能开门。
Duìbuqǐ, lǎo nǎinai. Wǒ bù néng kāi mén.
I'm sorry, Granny. I can't open the door.
- The Queen 不开门也没关系。你看，多好的苹果！我送你一个。
Bù kāi mén yě méi guānxi. Nǐ kàn, duō hǎo de píngguǒ! Wǒ sòng nǐ yí gè.
You needn't open the door. Just look what a lovely apple! Let me give you one.
- Snow White 不，谢谢。小矮人说，我什么都不能要。
Bù, xièxie. Xiǎo'ǎirén shuō, wǒ shénme dōu bù néng yào.
No, thank you. The little men said I mustn't take anything.
- The Queen 你怕有毒吗？你看，我吃白的一半。
Nǐ pà yǒu dú ma? Nǐ kàn, wǒ chī bái de yíbàn.
Are you afraid it's poisoned? Look, I'll eat the white half.
- The Queen 真好吃！红的一半给你。
Zhēn hǎochī! Hóng de yíbàn gěi nǐ.
Delicious! The red half is for you.
- Snow White 老奶奶吃了，没事……这个苹果好红啊。
Lǎo nǎinai chī le, méi shì… zhège píngguǒ hǎo hóng a.
She ate some, and she's fine… and this apple is so red.
- Snow White 好吧，我开门……就吃一口。
Hǎo ba, wǒ kāi mén… jiù chī yì kǒu.
All right, I'll open the door… just one bite.
- Narrator 白雪公主只吃了一口，就倒在了地上。
Báixuě gōngzhǔ zhǐ chī le yì kǒu, jiù dǎo zài le dì shang.
Snow White took only one bite, and fell to the ground.
- The Queen 哈哈！白雪公主，现在谁也叫不醒你了！
Hāhā! Báixuě gōngzhǔ, xiànzài shéi yě jiào bù xǐng nǐ le!
Ha! Snow White, now no one can wake you!
- Narrator 那天晚上，王后又问魔镜。
