Reading is where the words you've learned start to stick. These workbooks give you real texts at your level, with something to do after each one. Beginners can start with five six-line mini-stories, or with the HSK 1 reading book of signs and messages.

From HSK 2 to HSK 6 there's a reading practice book for every level, with dialogues, notices and articles, and questions on main ideas, detail and inference. Other workbooks help you step down from pinyin to none, guess how a new character sounds, and read the news. Read each text twice: once for the gist, once for the detail.
